Kundhara
Along with this story: http://deccanherald.com/deccanherald/apr03/n15.htm I think that WW3 will start getting real hot real soon. At least the USA is on India's side to deal with the radical Islamasists. Keep your iodine tablets handy, they will be needed within two months. USA has already given the wink, wink, nod, nod to let India take care of the Paki nuke sites. Keep your iodine tablets handy if you are downwind. India and the USA are now in negotiations to take over the Russian seaport at Cam Rahn Bay in Vietnam. The Russians are broke and can no longer afford it. USA needs a replacement for Subic Bay, and India is expanding her submarine fleet. Its a Win/Win situation. Except for those pesky ChiComs, who are seeing red..... It really seems that the U.S. is starting to see through the phoney PAKs, if they didn't have them spotted from day one. Once the U.S. doesn't need Pakistan any longer, it will be the next big clean up operation.

Now that the cold war is ancient history, the USA no longer needs Pakistan to counterbalance Russian and Chinese influence. And now the stage is set for Americans to ally with India, the world's largest democracy. And so many Non Resident Indians that live in USA, where they are a very affluent and influencing minority, the politicians are listening. Musharaff is between a rock and a hard place. I wish him the best of luck in securing a secular Islamic society (isn't that an oxymoron?). But at the first hint of a coup d'tat by extremest fundamentalists, American and Indian Special Forces will secure the Paki nukes. "Mahaprabhu has a plan".
