Jahnava Nitai Das
The forums clock has been switched to Pacific Standard Time. Till 11:00 am messages posted may not appear at the top of the list, because it will sort them based on the time. A few messages were posted at 11 AM according to the old clock, so they will remain at the top till we pass that time frame.
Jahnava Nitai Das
For technical reasons we switched over to Eastern Time Zone (New York) instead of Pacific.
Avinash
For technical reasons we switched over to Eastern Time Zone (New York) instead of Pacific. This is very sad. /ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif Is it possible to take the time from client machine so that each member sees the time as per his system time? If it is complicated, then please try to use IST. I don't like timing based on New York. /ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif
Jahnava Nitai Das
In your profile each user can set his own time zone, and the forums will adjust all message times to that. But the default is now on New York time.
Avinash
I have set time zone in my profile. Just checking the effect.
Avinash
It is working. Only that the time shown here is half an hour before my system time. This is because the offset time is 9 hrs and 30 min but in the profile I could enter offset in hours.
Avinash
I entered the offset as 9.5 Now it is pefect. /ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif
