Gauracandra
I have heard similar things before, but am never sure how much weight to give it. I suppose that on a certain level by accepting that there is a univeral history that connects all cultures, in some way we need to find a way to integrate the stories of other cultures in a meaningful way. I have found often that the similarities are very striking, but other times it is stretched a bit too far.
Guest guest
In masonic lore after the great flood Abraham brought the ancient knowledge lost due to the flood, this ancient knowledge in due time was lost also. The entire freemason/rosicrucian/knights templar/kabbalah/hermetic theology is based on reclaiming this lost knowledge, handed down from Abraham to Ham/hermes/thoth. It would appear from Matlocks research that this was indeed the vedas.
