shvu
Also, by Aditi Chaturvedi, the same gentleman who has taken the time to write the above articles, is the below article. http://www.swordoftruth.com/swordoftruth/archives/byauthor/aditichaturvedi/dpp1.html This should give some insight into the man's perspective of the world and it's people. Anyone/Anything he dislikes is Pro-Islam and Anti-Hindu. btw, sword of truth is a well known Hindu propoganda site. Cheers
Guest guest
so what ? The guy has a point of view ,still the research on the pre islamic series is excellent, and in no way has his point of view somehow changed the facts. That on the other hand is characteristic of islamic historians, they try and use everything to press their point of view, disregarding any and all evidence to the contrary. His view on Xena,i cannot agree with. Xena and Gabriel are like Krishna and Balarama as female. Xena has the chakra,Gabriel fights with the staff,Xena is dark complexioned,Gabriel is light. There India adventures were quite amusing, Krishna gave her a benediction,If she needed any help all she had to do was call his name. When her arms and legs were cut off,(the only time in the entire series where she was in serious trouble)she called on Krishna and she was turned into Kali for a while. This was all good fun,an alternate mythology as the entire series was. They didn't mean any disrespect,it was interesting and respectful. After all the sashtra states, only Vishnu wields the chakra. karthik_v
The name sounds more like a female, anyway it is besides the point. Shvu, I would agree with you that the site in question is a Hindu propaganda site, yet, not everything they say can be tarnished because of that. They do tend to mix propaganda with facts and some embellishments. Yet, the link you provided is very much factual. The likes of Shabana Azmi are definitely rabid Muslims and they have done their best to tarnish Hinduism. Do you really believe that Shabana will agree to be cast as a Muslim woman, who indulges in lesbianism with another wife in a polygamous marriage [insinuating that in Islamic polygamy wives are sexually starved]? But, she won't have any qualms doing the same with the Hindus. Coming to exaggerations, I have often felt that even mainstream academic works lack honesty, when it comes to deal with Hinduism. Are they not guilty of propping up canards? Are they not guilty of speculations? Then why just single out this site?
