anadi
Excerpt from Srila Bahktivinoda Thakura's Jaiva-dharma Ch.17 the Jiva s liberation from Maya "Vrajanatha: What is the final destination of the soul who is a devotee of Lord Gaura-kisora (Lord Caitanya)? Babaji: Krsna and Gaura-kisora are not different. They are both shelters of the feature of sweetness (madhura-rasa). They do have one difference. Madhura-rasa has two features: 1. madhurya (sweetness), and 2. audarya (mercy). When sweetness is prominent, Lord Krsna is manifested. When mercy is prominent, Lord Gauranga is manifested. The spiritual world of Vrndavana is divided into two abodes: 1. the abode of Lord Krsna, and 2. the abode of Lord Gaura. The eternally perfect and eternally liberated souls who are attracted first to sweetness and then to mercy reside in Lord Krsna's abode. The eternally perfect and eternally liberated souls who are attracted first to mercy and then to sweetness reside in Lord Gaura's abode. Some souls manifest two forms and reside in both abodes simultaneously. Other souls manifest only one form and are present in one of the abodes and not in the other. Souls who during the time of sadhana worship only Lord Gaura, at the time of attaining perfection go to Lord Gaura's abode and serve Him there. Souls who during the time of sadhana worship only Lord Krsna, at the time of attaining perfection go to Lord Krsna's abode and serve Him there. Souls who during the time of sadhana worship both Lord Krsna and Lord Gaura, at the time of attaining perfection manifest two forms, go to both Lord Krsna's abode and Lord Gaura's abode, and in their two forms serve the two Lord's simultaneously in both places. This truth: that Lord Gaura and Lord Krsna are simultaneously one and different from each other, is a very confidential secret."
Guest guest
Since Mahaprabhus activities are the distribution of mercy, they must be performed in this world. Therefore the devotee who attains perfection in the service of both Radha Krishna and Mahaprabhu, must perform this service simultaneously here, it's not that he can make a duplicate of him/herself, but that the transcendental lila is manifest in two ways, sometimes tasting the nectar of madhurya, sometimes distributing that nectar. anadi
What does it mean Lord Caitanya is Radha and Krsna combined? We have the purport from CC Adi-lila 13.43 TEXT 43 krsnera viyoge yata prema-cestita asvadiya purna kaila apana vanchita TRANSLATION In separation from Krsna, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu relished all these ecstatic activities, and thus He fulfilled His own desires. PURPORT In the beginning of Caitanya-caritamrta it is said that Lord Caitanya appeared in order to taste the feelings Radharani felt upon seeing Krsna. Krsna Himself could not understand the ecstatic feelings of Radharani toward Him, and therefore He desired to accept the role of Radharani and thereby taste these feelings. Lord Caitanya is Krsna with the feelings of Radharani; in other words, He is a combination of Radha and Krsna. It is therefore said, sri-krsna-caitanya radha-krsna nahe anya. By worshiping Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu alone, one can relish the loving affairs of Radha and Krsna together. One should therefore try to understand Radha-Krsna not directly but through Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and through His devotees.
anadi
Almost the same artikel has been posted before under the wrong topic. Sri Krsna Caitanya is Krsna, Krsna Himself, who has "stolen" the moods of Srimati Radhika. In Prema Vivarta is described as Sri Jagadananda threatened Mahaprabhu that will tell everybody that He is a thief. because Mahaprabhu would tease Jagadananda and tell him that he is like a queen in Dwaraka. Jagadananda said: I am a maidservant of Srimati Radhika and I will tell everybody that you've stolen the golden complexion and the mood of my Mistress. My Gurudeva says that truly Krsna didn't steal anything but Srimati Radhika inspired Krsna to take Her moods, that He cannot taste. Krsna says I don't know the strength of Radha's love with which She always overwhelms me. CC Adi-lila 4.123 The love of Radhika is My teacher, and I am Her dancing pupil. Her prema makes Me dance various novel dances CC Adi-lila 4.124 Thinking in this way, Lord Krsna was curios to taste that love. His eager desire for that love increasingly blazed in His heart CC Adi 4.136 Lord Krsna's own beauty attracts Lord Krsna Himself. But because He cannot fully enjoy it, His mind remains full of sorrow CC Adi 4.158 Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaha says And so He was sent by His Guru (Srimati Radhika) to the school of Her Sakhis LALITA (SVARUPA DAMODARA) and Vishaka (Ramananda Raya) and Srimati Radhika came Herself as Gadhadara Pandita to look if Krsna is a good pupil. This conclusion of the rasa is extremely deep, Only SVARUPA DAMODARA knows much about it. CC Adi 4.160 Lalita Sakhi (Svarupa Damodara) guided Sri Krisna (Sri Caitanya) in the moods Of Srimati Radhika Sri Sri Radha Krsna came and showed some of their pastimes in prakrita Vrindavan. But who could understand , who could understand the glories of the parakiya rasa, the glories of the love of the gopis? So They came again to give the raga marga, that was never been given before, the raga-anuga bhakti, the path of folowing the moods of the inhabitans of Vraja, the path of spontaneity. O Arjuna, there are no greater receptacles of deep love for Me, than the gopis, who cleanse and decorate their bodies because they consider them Mine. CC Adi 4.184 Spoken By Sri Krsna in Adi Purana. Of course we have to practice according to Sri Rupa Gosvami sa bhakti sadhana bhaktir bhava bhakti prema bhakti iti trividha sadhana bhakti punar vaidhi raganuga - bhedena dvividha. anadi
exerpt from a lecture of Srila BV Narayana Maharaja [srila Narayana Maharaja:] What is the second sloka in the pranama mantra of your Gurudeva? [Drstadyumna dasa:] In simple words it was to chant Hare Krsna, and that meant to worship… [srila Narayana Maharaja:] Sri Advaita Acarya may have given this. So many acaryas have given this. Even Maha-Visnu can give the chanting of the holy name, but He cannot give that gaura-vani. [Drstadyumna dasa:] It was to give an understanding of the essence of the feelings and mood of Srimati Radharani and… [srila Narayana Maharaja:] What is that gaura-vani he gave? [Drstadyumna dasa:] Would it be the mood of the manjaris; service to the Divine Couple? [srila Narayana Maharaja:] Was this his vani? I want to hear about that vani. What is that gaura-vani he preached throughout the world? It has been explained in the words of Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, and Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has also explained it. aradhyo bhagavan vrajesa-tanayas tad-dhama vrndavanam ramya kascid upasana vraja-vadhu-varga-ya kalpita srimad-bhagavatam amalam puranam prema pumartho mahan sri-caitanya mahaprabhor matam idam tatradarah na parah This is the special gaura-vani. aradhyo bhagavan Krsna is our highest worshipable Deity, but there are so many manifestations of Krsna. Dvarakadhisa Krsna is the son of Vasudeva and Devaki. Is He our worshipable Deity? He may be for so many others, and there is no harm in that. He is worshipable for them, and He should be. We do namaskara to Him, but we worship that very Vrajendranandana who took birth from the womb of Yasodamaiya. vrajesa-tanayas At the time of His birth, Vrajendranandana Krsna had no long hair, no decorations, and no ornaments. He appeared as a simple baby, weeping, "Kya, kya, kya!" All the Vrajabasis understood that He was born from the womb of Mother Yasoda. We worship that very Nandanandana. You should know that Nandanandana is always nava-kisora natavara. He is eternally an ever-fresh cowherd youth, and Mother Yasoda thinks, "He is my son." We worship this very Krsna who was bound by His mother in Vrndavana. She ran faster than Him, caught hold of Him, and bound Him. That is why He is called Damodara-Krsna. He killed Putana, who tried to take His life by poisoning Him, and He gave her a motherly position in Goloka. We worship that Krsna who was playing in the courtyard of Nanda Baba and Mother Yasoda, and who was controlled by them with affection and love. We worship that Krsna who was always surrounded by His friends like Dama, Sridama, Sudama, Vasudama, Stokakrsna, Lavanga, Arjuna, Subala, Madhumangala, and so on. They used to defeat that Krsna, and, being defeated, Krsna was very happy. That Krsna always played with the gopa-ramanis. Aradya bhagavan. Although He is Bhagavan, His bhagavata (Godhood) has been covered. All His opulences are covered by Yogamaya, and thus He has no idea that He is Brahma, Parabrahma, or Bhagavan. That very Krsna is our aradhya, our object of worship. Another manifestation of Krsna is the husband of Rukmini and the son of Vasudeva and Devaki. He should be the aradhya of the Mathuravasis and others. Let them worship Him in that way, but Caitanya Mahaprabhu is saying, "Aradyo bhagavan vrajesa-tanaya tad dhama vrndavanam." That Krsna is always in Vrndavana. He never gives up Vrndavana. He never goes elsewhere. His manifestations may go to Kuruksetra, to Dvaraka, and to Mathura. They can go, but that Krsna never leaves Vrndavana. Ramya karcit upasanam vrajavadhu. The process of serving Krsna that was adopted by all the gopis to please Krsna, especially by Radha and Her group, is the highest. They can even place their feet on His head. They can chastise Him - to please Him. They can order Him to do so many things, and He will very happily carry out their orders. He does not feel so much happiness by hearing the prayers of Brahma, Sankara, and all others like them, but He wants the gopis to chastise Him and call Him 'thief.' Srimad bhagavatam pramanam amalam The way and the process by which the gopis pleased Krsna cannot be attained by anyone else, and to understand this, Srimad Bhagavatam is the highest evidence among all sastras. Only in Srimad Bhagavatam can you see all these truths. Caitanya Mahaprabhu offers pranama to the Upanisads and all other scriptures because they are all the breathing of Krsna, but He particularly glorifies Srimad Bhagavatam. In Srimad Bhagavatam, Krsna Himself told the gopis, "Na paraye 'ham niravadya-samyujam. I cannot repay you, My dear gopis. I cannot repay you in thousands of thousands of births. Be pleased, therefore, by your own bhakti to Me. Be merciful to Me." Srimad Bhagavatam is revealing all this. This truth has been told there, but you can only realize it by the commentaries of Srila Sanatana Gosvami, Srila Jiva Gosvami, and Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura. Prema pumartha mahan. Prema is the ultimate goal, and the prema in the heart of Radhika is supermost. Hanuman also has prema, Dhruva Maharaja also has prema, and Prahlada Maharaja also has some love and affection. The Pandavas and Uddhava also have some prema, and all the queens of Dvaraka have so much love and affection. The sakhas and sakhis of Vrndavana, and Mother Yasoda and Nanda Maharaja all have prema, but no one has that prema of Srimati Radhika. Hers is the highest love and affection towards Krsna. Her love is in the heart of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and He Himself is telling about it. This is gaura-vani. This vani(message or teaching) is the vani of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. No one ever preached this before Him. Only "You should do nama-sankirtana" was preached. So many acaryas in Kali-yuga have told us that we should perform kirtana, but no one gave that love and affection given by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He preached love and affection, Vraja-prema, through nama-sankirtan. This is His vani. ceto-darpana-marjanam bhava-mahadavagni-nirvapanam sreyah-kairava-candrika-vitaranam vidyavadhu-jivanam anandambudhi-vardhanam prati-padam purnamrtasvadanam sarvatma-snapanam param vijayate sri krsnanama-kirtanam This is gaura-vani. trnad api sunicena taror api sahisnuna amanina manadena kirtaniyah sada harih No one ever explained this before. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu became very happy when, by His order and inspiration, Sri Rupa Gosvami explained the glory of the name: tunde tandavini ratim vitanute tundavali-labdhaye karna-kroda-kadambini ghatayate karnarbudebhyah sprham cetah-prangana-sangini vijayate sarvendriyanam krtim no jane janita kiyadbhir amrtaih krsneti varna-dvaya "I do not know how much nectar the two syllables 'Krs-na' have produced. When the holy name of Krsna is chanted, it appears to dance within the mouth. We then desire many, many mouths. When that name enters the holes of the ears, we desire many millions of ears. And when the holy name dances in the courtyard of the heart, it conquers the activities of the mind, and therefore all the senses become inert." (Caitanya-caritamrta, Antya-lila 1.99) Hearing this verse, Srila Haridasa Thakura began to jump, laugh, and chant, "Hari Bol! Hari Bol!" Give up all worldly sense gratification. Don't pray for a very good wife, good family, salvation, or anything else. Only pray for causeless bhakti, the bhakti that is in the heart of Srimati Radhika. That bhakti is established when hladini and samvit manifest in ones heart, on the platform of sandini. Caitanya Mahaprabhu is telling us who we are. ayi nanda-tanuja kinkaram patitam mam visame bhavambudhau krpaya tava ...-pankaja- sthita-dhuli-sadrsam vicintaya We always want to be a particle of dust at the lotus feet of the son of Nanda Maharaja. No one had ever told all this before. Especially, no one had previously told: nayanam galad asru dharaya vadanam gadgada ruddhaya gira pulakair nicitam vapuh kada tava nama grahane bhavisyati Hairs standing on end, voice choked, and all kinds of asta-sattvika-bhavas were present in Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. When will a day come that I can chant like this: weeping, with my bodily hairs standing on end, and my heart melting? No one had ever seen all these symptoms before Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu exhibited them. Valmiki had some symptoms, and Dhruva Maharaja and Prahlada Maharaja also had some, but not like this. This wonderful thing was taught by Mahaprabhu. Moreover He taught: yugayitam nimesena caksusa pravrsayitam sunyayitam jagat sarvam govinda virahena me There are hardly any qualified persons to realize all the truths in this verse. If a rare person realizes this, he will give up his body - because the material body cannot tolerate the emotions of prema. Moreover: aslisya va ...-ratam pinastu mam adarsanän marma-hatam karotu va yatha tatha va vidadhatu lampato mat-prana-nathas tu sa eva naparah "Lord Krsna, who is the lover of many devotees (women), may embrace this fully surrendered maidservant or may trample me with His feet. Or, He may render me brokenhearted by not being present before me for a long duration of time. Still, He is nothing less than the absolute lord of my heart." The transcendental emotions revealed in this verse cannot be found in this world. This is only found in Goloka Vrndavana-dhama. We should pray that a day will come that we can serve under the guidance of the gopis, especially being the maidservant of Srimati Radhika, under the guidance of Lalita, Visakha, and Rupa-manjari. This is gaura-vani. Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja preached this, but in the beginning he had to cut so many jungles of mayavada, nirvesesa, and sahajiya philosophies. He saw that in order to make the land of the world fertile, it would take a long time. He therefore put all these truths in his transcendental literatures. He thought that if any of his disciples would be qualified to go deep into those truths, all this vani would be taught there. He wanted to preach it also, but it was rare to find a student who could go so deep. Most of his students could not follow him, and that is why so many fell down even from sannyasa. They made many offenses to him, and they are now burning in hell. You should know all this vani, and be very strong in preaching and in glorifying your Prabhupada. Gaura-vani-pracarine. Krsna has sent him for this. After our Srila Rupa Gosvami, Srila Jiva Gosvami, and Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami came, Srila Narottama dasa Thakura, Srila Syamananda prabhu came, and after that Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, Srila Baladeva Vidyabhusana, Srila Jagannatha dasa Babaji Maharaja, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, and then our Gurudeva and so many associates of Srila Prabhupada. One of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura's hands was Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja, who came to the western countries, and in a couple of years preached everywhere. We should try to know his glories. Gaura-vani has so much deep meaning, but the meaning is very hidden. Don't think there is no reason for the word 'gaura-vani.' Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati is described in his pranama mantra to be gaura-vani murti. [Namaste gaura-vani sri murtaye dina-tarine.] Murti means embodiment. He is the embodiment of gaura-vani, and Srila Swami Maharaja, your Prabhupada, is in the same line. He is not different from Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura. The term 'Prabhupadanuga' is a wrong idea. Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja and Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura are both followers of Srila Rupa Gosvami, and therefore they are rupanuga. Following them, we are all rupanuga. We have now told in brief about the vani of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has also, in a brief form, collected gaura-vani in his Dasa-mula siksa. You should note it very carefully in your heart. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura wrote down that vani in his Jaiva-dharma, his last and best book. It is an authentic literature, and is the essence of all the Vedas, Upanisads, Bhagavatam, Caitanya-caritamrta, and all the books of our Gosvamis. The essence of all sastra is there in Jaiva-dharma. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has written: amanayaha praha tattavam harim iha paramam sarva saktima rasabdhima tata bhinansansa ca jivan prakritir kavalitan tada vimuktansa ca bhavada bhedabheda prakasam sakalampi harch sadhanam sudha bhaktim sadhayam tata pritim eva iti upadesayati janan gauracandra savayam saha "The authoritative knowledge of the Vedas, received through the bona fide disciplic succession, establishes the following fundamental truths: 1.Hari is the supreme absolute truth. 2.He is omnipotent. 3.He is the reservoir of all mellows. 4.The living entities are His separated parts and parcels. 5.The conditioned souls are covered by Maya. 6.The liberated souls are beyond the influence of Maya. 7.The entire cosmic manifestation is simultaneously one and different from Him. 8.Suddha-bhakti is the only means to achieve love of Godhead. 9.The goal is to attain love of Godhead. These teachings have been instructed by Gauracandra Himself." Gaura Premanande.
anadi
CC 1. 17. 276-278 To taste the mellows of Srimati Radharnai s loving affairs in Her relationship with Krsna, and to understand the reservoir of pleasure in Krsna , Krsna Himself, as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, accepted the mood of Radharani. Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu accepted the mood of the gopis, who accepted Vrajendra-nandana, Sri Krsna as their lover. It is firmly ascertained that the ecstatic mood of the gopis is possible only before Krsna, and no one else. CC 1. 17. 280-281 If Lord Krsna gives up this original form and assumes another Visnu form, nearness to Him cannot invoke the ecstatic mood of the gopis. Once Lord Sri Krsna playfully manifested Himself as Narayana, with four victorious hands and a very beautiful form. When the gopis saw this exalted form , however, their exstatic feelings were crippled. A learned scholar therefore, cannot understand the gopis ecstatic feelings, which are firmly fixed upon the ORIGINAL FORM of Lord Krsna as the son of Nanda Maharaja. The wonderful feelings of the gopis in ecstatic parama-rasa with Krsna constitutes the GREATEST MYSTERY in spiritual life. anadi
(Purport CC Madya 2.1) Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is specifically mentioned here as being gaura, or of fair complexion. Krsna is generally known to be blackish, but when He is absorbed in the thought of the gopis, who are all of fair complexion, Krsna Himself also becomes fair. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in particular felt separation from Krsna very deeply, exactly like a lover who is dejected in separation from the beloved. CC Madya 2.3-4 During His last twelve years, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu always manifested all the symptoms of ecstasy in separation from Krsna. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's state of mind, day and night, was practically identical to Radharani s state of mind when Uddhava came to Vrndavana to see the gopis. What was Radharani s state of mind when Uddhava came to Vrndavana to see the gopis? The madness of separation. CC Madya 2.5 The Lord constantly exhibited a state of mind reflecting the madness of separation. All His activities were based on forgetfulness, and His talks were always based on madness. And the madness of separation is but an expresion of the symptoms of ecstasy.
anadi
Many people don t really understand that is Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is Krsna Himself, taking the feelings of Srimati Rdhika. Verses from CC Madhya lila Vers 74 In the attitude of Radharani, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu addressed the gopis, " 'My dear friends, where is that Krsna, Cupid personified, who has the effulgence of a kadamba flower, who is sweetness itself, the nectar of My eyes and mind, He who loosens the hair of the gopis, who is the supreme source of transcendental bliss and My life and soul? Has He come before My eyes again?' " PURPORT This is another verse from the Krsna-karnamrta (68). Vers 77 He also passed His time reading the books and singing the songs of Candidasa and Vidyapati, and listening to quotations from the Jagannatha-vallabha-nataka, Krsna-karnamrta and Gita-govinda. Thus in the association of Svarupa Damodara and Raya Ramananda, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu passed His days and nights chanting and hearing with great pleasure. Vers 80 During His previous pastimes in Vrndavana, Lord Krsna desired to enjoy the three different types of ecstasy, but despite great endeavor, He could not taste them. Such ecstasies are the monopoly of Srimati Radharani. Therefore, in order to taste them, Sri Krsna accepted the position of Srimati Radharani in the form of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. So Sri Krsna took Her position to taste Her ecstatic feelings. Overwhelmed by Her position He became gaura (golden like).
anadi
CC Madya 4.191-202 After saying this, Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu read the famous verse of Madhavendra Puri. That verse is just like the moon. It has spread illumination all over the world. Continuous rubbing increases the aroma of Malaya sandalwood. Similarly, consideration of this verse increases one's understanding of its importance. As the Kaustubha-mani is considered the most precious of valuable stones, this verse is similarly considered the best of poems dealing with the mellows of devotional service. Actually this verse was spoken by Srimati Radharani Herself, and by Her mercy only was it manifest in the words of Madhavendra Puri. Only Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has tasted the poetry of this verse. No fourth man is capable of understanding it. This indicates that only Srimati Radharani, Madhavendra Puri and Caitanya Mahaprabhu are capable of understanding the purport of this verse. Madhavendra Puri recited this verse again and again at the end of his material existence. Thus uttering this verse, he attained the ultimate goal of life. "O My Lord! O most merciful master! O master of Mathura! When shall I see You again? Because of My not seeing You, My agitated heart has become unsteady. O most beloved one, what shall I do now?" When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu recited this verse, He immediately fell to the ground unconscious. He was overwhelmed and had no control over Himself. When Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu fell to the ground in ecstatic love, Lord Nityananda quickly took Him on His lap. Crying, Caitanya Mahaprabhu then got up again. Exhibiting ecstatic emotions, the Lord began to run here and there, making resounding noises. Sometimes He laughed, and sometimes He cried, and sometimes He danced and sang. Trembling, perspiration, jubilant tears, shock, fading of the bodily luster, disappointment, moroseness, loss of memory, pride, joy and humility were all visible in Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's body. **************************************************************** The mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is but the mercy of Srimati Radhika. During His previous pastimes in Vrndavana, Lord Krsna desired to enjoy the three different types of ecstasy, but despite great endeavor, He could not taste them. kailasa
"...As stated in prayer to the six Gosvamis: saмkhyд-pьrvaka-nдma-gдna-natibhiщ kдlдvasдnй-kеtau. The word sa... means "maintaining a numerical strength." "...Certainly the chanting of 300,000 holy names of the Lord is wonderful. No ordinary person can chant so many names, nor should one artificially imitate Haridasa Thakura’s behavior. It is essential, however, that everyone fulfill a specific vow to chant the Hare Krsna mantra. Therefore we have prescribed in our Society that all our students must chant at least sixteen rounds daily. Such chanting must be offenseless in order to be of high quality. Mechanical chanting is not as powerful as chanting of the holy name without offenses. " "Lord Caitanya appeared with the sentiment of Radha. He preached the dharma of this age—the chanting of the holy name and pure love of God. In the mood of Srimati Radharani, He also fulfilled HIS OWN DESIRES. THIS IS the principal reason for His appearance. Lord Sri Krsna Caitanya is Krsna [Vrajendra-kumara], the embodiment of rasas. He is amorous love personified. He made His appearance to taste that conjugal mellow and incidentally to broadcast all the rasas. Adi 4.224 Lord Sri Krsna Caitanya is the abode of rasa. He Himself tasted the sweetness of rasa in endless ways. Thus He initiated the dharma for the Age of Kali. The devotees of Lord Caitanya know all these truths. PURPORT Lord Caitanya is Sri Krsna Himself, the absolute enjoyer of the love of the gopis. He Himself assumes the role of the gopis to taste the predominated happiness of transcendental mellows. He appeared in that mode, but simultaneously He propagated the religious process for this age in a most fascinating way. ONLY the confidential devotees of SRI CAITANYA Mahaprabhu can understand this transcendental secret. Bowing down with devotion, I hold on my head the lotus feet of Advaita Дcдrya, Nityдnanda, Srivasa Paлтita, Gadadhara, Svarupa Damodara, Murari Gupta, Haridasa and all the other devotees of Sri Krsna Caitanya.. PURPORT The author of Sri Caitanya-caritamrta teaches us that we must offer our respectful obeisances to all such pure confidential devotees of Lord Caitanya if we indeed want to know Him in truth. ---You see many from pure devotees not gopis?--- As a result of chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, one makes such great advancement in spiritual life that simultaneously his material existence terminates and he receives love of Godhead. The holy name of Krsna is so powerful that by chanting even one name, one very easily achieves these transcendental riches. One day the Lord ordered Srivasa Thakura to read the Bеhat-sahasra-nдma [the thousand names of Lord Visnu], for He wanted to hear them at that time. As he read the thousand names of the Lord, in due course the holy name of Lord Nrisinha appeared. When Caitanya Mahaprabhu heard the holy name of Lord Nrisinha, He became fully absorbed in thought. PURPORT The Caitanya-mangala, describes this incident as follows: Srivasa Paлтita was performing the srдddha ceremony of his father, and as is customary, he was hearing the thousand names of Lord Viслu. At that time Gaurahari (Lord Caitanya) appeared on the scene, and He also began to hear the thousand names of Viслu with full satisfaction. When He thus heard the holy name of Lord Nrisinha, Lord Caitanya became absorbed in thought, and He became angry like Nrisinha Prabhu in His angry mood. His eyes became red, His hairs stood on end, all the parts of His body trembled, and He made a thundering sound. All of a sudden He took up a club, and people became greatly afraid, thinking, “We do not know what kind of offense we have now committed!” But then Зrй Caitanya Mahдprabhu adjusted His thoughts and sat down on His seat. In the mood of Lord Nrisinhadeva, Lord Caitanya ran through the city streets, club in hand, ready to kill all the atheists. Seeing Him appearing very fierce in the ecstasy of Lord Nrisinha, people ran from the street and fled here and there, afraid of His anger. "Seeing the people so afraid, the Lord came to His external senses and thus returned to the house of Srivasa Цhдkura and threw away the club. The Lord became morose and said to Srivasa Цhдkura, "When I adopted the mood of Lord Nеsiаhadeva, people were greatly afraid. Therefore I stopped, since causing fear among people is an offense." Srivasa Цhдkura replied, "Anyone who takes Your holy name vanquishes ten million of his offenses immediately." ******** GURU-SADHU-SASTRA NOT - guru, guru, guru. "SNdT says, sдdhu-здstra-guru-vдkya, cittete kariyд aikya. One should accept a thing as genuine by studying the words of saintly people, the spiritual master and sastra. The actual center is sastra, the revealed scripture. If a spiritual master does not speak according to revealed scripture, he is not to be accepted. Similarly, if a saintly person does not speak according to the sastra, he is not a saintly person. sastra is the center for all. " ******** In ISKCON there is a set bona fide guru. SP is siksa guru, like Goswamis. But each schoolboy in ISKCON has diksa guru. Ritviks consider SP diksa guru, but ISKCON so do not consider. It is very good guru. They very well know science of devoted service. Some from them are at a level of the relations with the God in svarupa siddhi. SP preaches top - madhurya vipralambha. anadi
Dandavat pranama Kailasa Prabhu I am always happy to read your comentary. May your gurudeva sprinkle His Mercy on you. You do not admit that the mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is but the mercy of Radha. You say: Srimati Radhika it is sakti Lord Krisna. Krisnas tu bhagavan swayam. It is wrong understanding misconceptions Krisna lila. With out sat guru do not understand spiritual science. I have to admit that you are right. I only try to put it in another light. From Sri Sri Radha Vinodabhihari tattva ashtakam Vers 4 Tattvam ekam param vidyallilaya tadvidha-sthitam Gaurah krsnah svayam hy etad ubhavubhayam aputah Translation The non-dual Absolute truth advaya jnann para tattva is one. That Absolute Truth is eternally manifested in two forms for the sake of conducting pastimes. One form is that of Sri Gaurasundara and the other is that of Sri Krsnasundara. Both are absolute para tattva and are non different from each other. BY TATTVA Sri Gaurasundara is Krsna Himself and Sri Krsna is Sri Gaurasundara. Each manifests the other; that is to say Sri Krsna has become Sri Gaurasundara and Sri Gaurasundara has become Sri Krsnasundara. So we can see here that there is no difference between Sri Gaurasundara and Sri Krsnasundara, but how? In tattva. And what is one of the difference? Sri Gaurasundara has the moods of Srimati Radhika, and Krsna has them not. But Krsna attains them as Sri Gaurasundara! And what is the mood of Sri Gaurasundara? Most merciful (He is the combination of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna) In Navadvip dhama the aparadhas are not taken into consideration In Vraja dhama any aparadhas give back powerful reactions; here Krsna has not the moods of Srimati Radhika. Where comes the mercy from? From Srimati Radhika. radha krsna pranaya vikrtir hladini saktir asmad ekatmanav api bhuvi pura deha-bhedam gatau tau caitanyakhyam prakatam adhuna tad-dvayam caikyam aptam radha bhava dyuti suvalitam naumi krsna-svarupam Srimati Radhika is Krsna s hladini shakti and the embodiment of the transformation of His intimate love (pranaya). They are eka atmanau (BOTH THE SAME IN IDENTITY) api although bhuvi on earth pura from beginningless time deha bhedam (separate forms) gatau (obtained). Now both of them manifested (prakatam) as caitanya akhyam (known). I offer my obeisances (naumi)to Sri Caitanya who is krsna svarupam and Who is adorned (suvalitam) with radha bhava. Although I write all these things, I don t really understand them. Maybe I think that I understand them. This knowledge is not in the heart. kailasa
Dandavat pranama Anadi Prabhu Spiritual science have many subthle moments. It is no right take one side. If take one side, right side it is Krisna. For you citations - Baladeva, Laksmana, Advaita Acarya, Lord Nityananda, Lord Sesa and Lord Sankarsana taste the nectarean mellows of the transcendental bliss of Lord Krsna by recognizing Themselves as being His devotees and servants. They are all mad with that happiness, and they know nothing else. What to speak of others, even Lord Krsna Himself becomes thirsty to taste His own sweetness. He tries to taste His own sweetness, but He cannot do so without accepting the emotions of a devotee. PURPORT Lord Sri Krsna wanted to relish the transcendental mellow of a devotee, and therefore He accepted the role of a devotee by appearing as Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Therefore Lord Krsna accepted the position of a devotee and descended in the form of Lord Caitanya, who is complete in every respect. He tastes His own sweetness through the various emotions of a devotee. I have formerly explained this conclusion. PURPORT Lord Caitanya, who is known as Sri Gaurahari, is complete in relishing all the different mellows, namely, neutrality, servitorship, fraternity, parental affection and conjugal love. By accepting the ecstasy of different grades of devotees, He is complete in relishing all the mellows of these relationships. All the incarnations are entitled to the emotions of devotees. There is no higher bliss than this. ......... Let me first offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is the ultimate goal of life for one bereft of all possessions in this material world and is the only meaning for one advancing in spiritual life. Thus let me write about His magnanimous contribution of devotional service in love of God. The selfsame Lord Krsna advented Himself as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu with all His eternal associates, who are also equally glorious. The three predominators [Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Prabhu] are worshipable by all living entities, and the fourth principle [sri Gadadhara Prabhu] is to be understood as Their worshiper. PURPORT In his Anubhasya, Sri Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, describing the truth about the Panca-tattva, explains that we can understand that Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the supreme predominator and that Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Prabhu are His subordinates but are also predominators. Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the Supreme Lord, and Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Prabhu are manifestations of the Supreme Lord. All of Them are vinuu-tattva, the Supreme, and are therefore worshipable by the living entities. Although the other two tattvas within the category of Panca-tattva—namely, sakti-tattva and jiva-tattva, represented by Gadadhara and Srivasa—are worshipers of the Supreme Lord, they are in the same category because they eternally engage in the transcendental loving service of the Lord. ********* "Srivasa, Haridasa, Ramadasa, Gadadhara, Murari, Mukunda, Candrasekhara and Vakresvara are all glorious and are all learned scholars, but the sentiment of servitude to Lord Caitanya makes them mad in ecstasy." ----- In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika, verse 90, Srivasa Pandita (Srivasa Thakura) is described as an incarnation of Narada Muni, Sri Ramadasa was the second son of Sivananda Sena. It is stated in the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika (145) that the two famous parrots named Dakсa and Vicakсaлa in Krsna-lila became the elder brothers of Kavi-karnapura, namely, Caitanya dasa and Ramadasa. In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika, verses 147 through 153, it is stated: "The pleasure potency of Sri Krsna formerly known as Vrndavanesvari is now personified in the form of Sri Gadadhara Pandita in the pastimes of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu." In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika, verse 175, it is stated that the gopй whose name was Vrndadevi became Mukunda dasa In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika, verse 71, it is stated that Vakresvara Pandita was an incarnation of Aniruddha, one of the quadruple expansions of Viслu (Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Aniruddha and Pradyumna). ------ Thus they dance, sing and laugh like madmen, and they instruct everyone, "Just be loving servants of Lord Caitanya." For evidence, please listen to the examples described in the revealed scriptures, which are also corroborated by the realization of great souls. ( listen ) Although no one is a more respected elder for Krsna than Nanda Maharaja in Vraja, who in transcendental paternal love has no knowledge that his son is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, still ecstatic love makes him, what to speak of others, feel himself to be a servant of Lord Krsna. He too prays for attachment and devotion to the lotus feet of Lord Krsna, as the words from his own mouth give evidence. My dear Uddhava, please hear me. In truth Krsna is my son, but even if you think that He is God, I would still bear toward Him my own feelings for my son. May my mind be attached to your Lord Krsna. May our minds be attached to the lotus feet of your Lord Krsna, may our tongues chant His holy names, and may our bodies lie prostrate before Him. Wherever we wander in the material universe under the influence of karma by the will of the Lord, may our auspicious activities cause our attraction to Lord Krsna to increase. Although they fight with Him and climb upon His shoulders, they worship His lotus feet in a spirit of servitude. Some of the friends of Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, massaged His feet, and others whose sinful reactions had been destroyed fanned Him with hand-held fans. Even the beloved girlfriends of Lord Krsna in Vrndavana, the gopis, the dust of whose feet was desired by Sri Uddhava and beyond whom no one is more dear to Krsna, regard themselves as Krsna’s maidservants. O Lord, remover of the afflictions of the inhabitants of Vrndavana! O hero of all women! O Lord who destroy the pride of Your devotees by Your sweet, gentle smile! O friend! We are Your maidservants. Please fulfill our desires and show us Your attractive lotus face. O Uddhava! It is indeed regrettable that Krsna resides in Mathura. Does He remember His father’s household affairs and His friends, the cowherd boys? O great soul! Does He ever talk about us, His maidservants? When will He lay on our heads His aguru-scented hand? What to speak of the other gopis, even Sri Radhika, who in every respect is the most elevated of them all and who has bound Sri Krsna forever by Her loving attributes, serves His feet as His maidservant. O My Lord, O My husband, O most dearly beloved! O mighty-armed Lord! Where are You? Where are You? O My friend, reveal Yourself to Your maidservant, who is very much aggrieved by Your absence. PURPORT This verse is quoted from Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.30.39). When the rasa dance was going on in full swing, Krsna left all the gopis and took only Srimati Radharani with Him. At that time all the gopis lamented, and Srimati Radharani, being proud of Her position, requested Krsna to carry Her wherever He liked. Then Krsna immediately disappeared from the scene, and Srimati Radharani began to lament. In Dvaraka-dhama, all the queens, headed by Rukmini, also consider themselves maidservants of Lord Krsna. When Jarasandha and other kings, bows and arrows upraised, stood ready to deliver me in charity to Sisupala, He forcibly took me from their midst, as a lion takes its share of goats and sheep. The dust of His lotus feet is therefore the crown of unconquerable soldiers. May those lotus feet, which are the shelter of the goddess of fortune, be the object of my worship. What to speak of others, even Lord Baladeva, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is full of emotions like pure friendship and paternal love. He also considers Himself a servant of Lord Krsna. Indeed, who is there who does not have this conception of being a servant of Lord Krsna? He who is Sesa, Sankarsana, with His thousands of mouths, serves Sri Krsna by assuming ten forms. Rudra, who is an expansion of Sadasiva and who appears in unlimited universes, is also a gunavatara [qualitative incarnation] and is the ornament of all the demigods in the endless universes. He also desires only to be a servant of Lord Krsna. Sri Sadasiva always says, "I am a servant of Lord Krsna." Intoxicated by ecstatic love for Lord Krsna, he becomes overwhelmed and incessantly dances without clothing and sings about Lord Krsna’s qualities and pastimes. All the emotions, whether those of father, mother, teacher or friend, are full of sentiments of servitude. That is the nature of love of Krsna. Lord Krsna, the one master and the Lord of the universe, is worthy of being served by everyone. Indeed, everyone is but a servant of His servants. That same Lord Krsna has descended as Lord Caitanya, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Everyone, therefore, is His servant. I am a servant of Lord Caitanya, a servant of Lord Caitanya. I am a servant of Lord Caitanya, and a servant of His servants. The sweetness of Lord Krsna is not to be tasted by those who consider themselves equal to Krsna. It is to be tasted only through the sentiment of servitude.
kailasa
***So we can see here that there is no difference between Sri Gaurasundara and Sri Krsnasundara, but how? Who a source Radha? What in means sarva karana karanam? ***Where comes the mercy from? It is material logic. LORD CAITANYA source Radha - Krisna. It is most secret knowledge. We do not make sankhya about rasa. If - that. If I has found top, means speaking about it constantly, I turn out greatest. Therefore acarya speaks that is necessary to pass all this CONSISTENTLY. Not so - Prahlada it is unsignificant, demigods it is unsignificant, Vaikuntha it is unsignificant, vatsalya it is unsignificant. If we preach one mood, especially most maximum, then we shall know also everything, that is lower than this mood. ALL moods are attractive. ALL moods ARE UNIFORM also ALL moods serve Krisna. For example Sukadeva Gosvami it is a parrot Radharani (dasya, santa?). But He is present at all events as. The trees are present, the wind is present. In the spiritual world all is absolute also nothing is limited, therefore ANYONE can be present at all events. As the spiritual world is absolute, therefore everyone test equal happiness. Therefore in the CERTAIN sense there is no difference between races. IT should be understood first of all. Because in the other case we distinguish from a material platform of envy. Spiritual body this ETERNAL body. Now it is simply latent and later will be cleared. If you from sakhya in Krisna lila, you do not become madhurya. But if devotee there is devotee Lord Caitanya he can rise on a level madhurya rasa. But it not the largest secret Lord Caitanya. /images/graemlins/smile.gif There is an even greater secret Lord Caitanya. I already wrote about it, but if sense to write about it? You see you so aspire in Krisna lila? /images/graemlins/smile.gif In the sweet relations? You already probably have found the recipe how there to get? /images/graemlins/smile.gif But the recipe is what to develop real humility and real spiritual knowledge. The god is cleverer than cleverest. The spiritual teacher the representative of the god. Therefore spiritual teacher has told - only in a community devotees it is possible to develop spiritually. If the person develops spiritually she never will think that she became great. If we think that we are great, we simply fall. As I great, mine guru very great, my understanding very great, mine sraddha very great. Therefore there are very many great persons, which battle for the rank. Therefore spiritual teacher also has told - instead of that what to find out who from you great (that is all of you kanistha adhikari), unit and serve to the god. The present humility, present greatness. It is impossible to use sastra in material motives, this insult. It is impossible to compare absolute things from a material position. SBT, SBST, speak what madhrya this highest? Whether so there are WE at this level? Or we simply make the next material circuit? Gopi think that a flute above them, THIS vision gopi. Vipralambha bhava it is top of all spiritual emotions. It as a source of all spiritual world. Among devotees Lord Caitanya there are no maximum and lowest - from CC - "The description of Lord Caitanya as the gardener and the tree is inconceivable. Now hear with attention about the branches of this tree. The associates of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu were many, but none of them should be considered lower or higher. This cannot be ascertained. All the great personalities in the line of Lord Caitanya enumerated these devotees, but they could not distinguish between the greater and the lesser. Since the tree of devotional service is transcendental, every one of its parts can perform the action of all the others. Although a tree is supposed to be immovable, this tree nevertheless moves." Why there are no maximum and lowest - because all of them play one role at one level. The emotions Lord Caitanya are so strong, and kripa is boundless that all His devotees rise on one level "one" spiritual role. It is a final point of ALL devoted service. It is not distributed by anybody, only Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. "Prema" for Prabhupada there is IT. Prabhupada itself there is an embodiment Lord Caitanya. "I offer my obeisances unto the Supreme Lord, Krsna, who is nondifferent from His features as a devotee, devotional incarnation, devotional manifestation, pure devotee, and devotional energy. Lord Krsna enjoys by manifesting Himself as the spiritual masters, the devotees, the diverse energies, the incarnations and the plenary portions. They are all six in one. I therefore worship the lotus feet of these six diversities of the one truth by invoking their benedictions. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the spiritual masters, the devotees of the Lord, the Lord’s incarnations, His plenary portions, His energies, and the primeval Lord Himself, Sri Krsna Caitanya. Lord Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu is the Personality of Godhead Himself, and therefore I offer innumerable prostrations at His lotus feet." "The loving affairs of Sri Radha and Krsna are transcendental manifestations of the Lord’s internal pleasure-giving potency. Although Radha and Krsna are one in Their identity, They separated Themselves eternally. Now these two transcendental identities have again united, in the form of Sri Krsna Caitanya. I bow down to Him, who has manifested Himself with the sentiment and complexion of Srimati Radharani although He is Krsna Himself." "...The loving affairs of Sri Radha and Krsna are transcendental manifestations of the Lord’s internal pleasure-giving potency...." - Whose potency? "...Although Radha and Krsna are one in Their identity. They separated Themselves eternally..." "Now these two transcendental identities have again united" Again. The god would divide itself what to test happiness of the spiritual world. Then He again would unit what to increase this happiness is boundless. It Lord Caitanya - Supreme Personality or Krisna - Sri Krisna Caitanya. Nobody is equal to Him and there is nobody above Him. Therefore if and to allocate whom, it is necessary to allocate HIM!! KRISNA!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif, because HE a source all and reason of all reasons. And Radha it is His mood, this mood ALL His devotees, She was embodied in ALL devotees Lord Caitanya. But She worships KRISNA, not Radha. Therefore SP writes anything that concerns to this mood. Others acaryas have described everything, but SP gives most maximum, essence only. Therefore He speak that over It NOBODY will jump. Because for SP stands Advaita Acarya, Because for SP stands Nityananda Prabhu, because SP the embodiment itself Lord Caitanya. And consequently that SP itself is pure devotee, best devotee, Supreme devotee. Because SP preaches the TOP of devoted service. How you will jump if above already brahman or Vaikuntha? You will jump in brahman? SP wrote for all as bhagavata acarya and especially for mature devotees. To speak that SP wrote for neophits it Prabhupada aparadha. Prabhupada gives essence all vedic of knowledge and essence to all prema bhakti. 10 000 years great devotees will enjoy nectar of the books SP. In mood SP they as will study also other books. Because in this mood are all acarya.
anadi
Sri Krsna is the source of everything And yet he has not something that Srimati Radhika has. Is this possible? It seems so. Sri Krsna is karuna sindhu an ocean of mercy. When does He manifest His highest extent of mercy? At the time He comes as Sri Caitanya, when he comes with the moods of Srimati Radhika, because He gives something SPECIAL manjari bhava, the service of Srimati Radhika, as Srila Rupa Gosvami says in Vidagda Madhava. Where comes this mercy from? From that part of Krsna which is Srimati Radhika, when Sri Krsna and Srimati Radhika are one, when they are together as Sri Caitanya. Prayer from Sri Prabodhananda Sarasvati (in Radha Rasa Sudha Nidhi) yat kinkarishu bahushah khalu kaku vani nityam parasya purushya shikhanda mauleh tasyah daka rasa nidher vrishabhanu jayas tat kel kunja bhavanangana marjani syam O daughter of Vrishabhanu Maharaja, O ocean of rasa! The Supreme Bhagavan, the source of all avataras who wears a peacock in His hair, falls at the feet of Your MAIDSERVANTS and propitiates them with many humble and griefstricken words to be allowed entrance into Your kunja where You engage in playful amorous pastimes. If only I could become one stick in the broom used by Your sakhis to clean Your delightful grove, I would consider my life a success. It is not whole. Worsip only sakti it is impersonal. Acaryas take this in right contecsts. No sheme - if - to and so on. Sankhya abhout madhurya rasa. Your communiti so many neophits, it is knowlege not fit for them. They go ewerywhere and speak things do not undestand this. Eyear after year am listen this cermony. Krisna is sarva karana karanam. Radha is His Hladini sakti. Krisna God, not Radha, it is apa siddhanta. In Krisna lila all devotees serve Krisna. Gopi in group Radha, but serve Krisna. Srila Rupa Gosvami write most about Krisna, no needs false kommentary. Krisna lila it is not top in spiritual mellows. This misunderstanding close for your way higher. It is no good, people not understand most siply things. What sense go above? Great, great, kanistha adhikara, so match throubles.
anadi
Some people can mistake the worshipers of maha maya in her different aspects as Durga, and so on, which are called shaktas with the worshipers of Srimati Radharani which are bhaktas in the stage of raga anuga, respectively raga atmika. Source Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu Bindhu Raganuga-bhakti 124 and 126 Sri Rupa Gosvami, who is an eternal associate of Sri Gaurasundara, serves Sri Radha Krsna as Sri Rupa Manjari in Krsna lila. Sri Rupa Manjari, appearing as Srila Rupa Gosvami with the attitude of a sadhaka, weeps again and again and prays anxiously to obtain the service of Sri Yugala kishora. Sometimes while praying in this way, he would become so deeply immersed in the emotional trance of Rupa Manjari that he would taste the happiness of direct service. Therefore, raganuga bhaktas must certainly follow Sri Rupa-Sanatana and other gosvamis. Sri Rupa Gosvami says in Sri Stava mala Amala kamala kantim nila vastram sukeshim shashadhara sama vaktram khanjanaksim manojnam stana yuga gata kantam muktadama diptam kishorim vraja pati suta kantam radhikam ashraye ham I take shelter of Srimati Radhika, whose complexion is like that of a spotless lotus flower, who is attired in blue cloth, whose hair is very beautiful, whose face is like the full moon, whose charming, restless eyes are like khanjarita birds (wagtails), upon whose breasts rests a radiant pearl necklace, who is eternally youthful, and who is the dear most lover of the son of Nanda Maharaja. Without faithful adherence to the vraja-gopis, no one is entitled to enter into the conjugal service of Yugala-kishora. Even amongst the various types of sakhis, the manjari sakhis are themselves followers of the sakhis. The aspiration to perform bhajana in allegiance to the manjari sakhis was also exhibited by Sriman Mahaprabhu. In order to pursue manjari bhava, one must certainly follow the associates of Sri Gaurasundara such as Rupa and Sanatana Gosvami. Srila Narottama das Thakur has expressed this in his song dealing with the worship of manjari bhava. In one verse of this song, he has indicated his own heartfelt longing ( Prarthana 39): Srila Narottama Thakura says Sri rupa manjari . sei mora sampada sei mora bhajana pujana sei mora pranadhana sei mora abharana sei mora jivanera jivana The lotus feet of Srila Rupa Manajari are my supreme wealth. To meditate upon and serve those lotus feet are my topmost methods of bhajana and puja. They are a treasure more precious to me than life itself. They are the ornament of my life. Not only that, they are the very life of my life. Srila Raghunath das Gosvami says in Sri Stavavali bhajami radham aranvinda netram smarami radham madhura smitasyam vadami radham karuna bharardram tato mamanyasti gatir na kapi I worship Radha who has lotus eyes, I remember Radha who has a sweet smile, an I speak of Radha who is MELTED WITH COMPASSION karuna bharardram. There is nothing else for me. She is my life and soul. Some people can mistake the worshipers of maha maya in her different aspects as Durga, and so on, which are called shaktas with the worshipers of Srimati Radharani which are bhaktas in the stage of raga anuga, respectively raga atmika. Lord Caitanya. If you in sakhya, you not become madhurya. You understand? I am know this read Srila Rupa Goswami in whole, do not mix. 1- needs understanding Vaikuntha-another first, then Krisna lila, then CC. It is not use sankhya abhout madhurya rasa. Imagination, unripe sraddha. You know Lord Brahma? You know Lord Siva? What needs sankhya madhurya rasa? Krisna lila not higher aspekts, am write abhout this soooo match. All acarya write - SBT, Srila Prabhupada, Srila Rupa Goswami and so on. It is buisnes - guru, guru, swarupa - madhurya. It is theory, no top theory. sraddha- nistha - bhava - prema, play names. So match anartha, this no nistha. It is no nistha, it is kanistha. It is pratistha.

Guest guest
Krsna's greatest satisfaction lies in serving Radha, as Her's is serving Him. The Absolute Truth is One in Divine Love. Devotees worship Supreme Devotion above all, realizing fully that Krsna desires only Radha. Thus their service consists of supporting and assisting Her relationship with Him at every level. Gaudiya Vaishnavas are always ready to take Her side, not His. Without accepting this, no entry into the Goloka pastimes is possible. From a more impersonal perspective, nothing can exist without potency. Her hladini potency is the basis of all others. Krsna recognizes Radha as His very life and soul -- so must we, if we expect to become devotees in any sense of the word. At all times we remain absolutely dependent on His Divine Grace for "our" devotion, which She remains the ultimate source of.
anadi
Wonderful explanation and yet... These topics can be understood, to SOME extent, by someone who has some ideas about ragaanuga bhakti, and maybe these topics should be HEARD only by ragaanuga bhaktas. And from the ragaanuga bhaktas only the ones that have a natural inclination toward madhurya bhava would understand them. We can see in Jaiva Dharma that Vrajanatha and Vijaya were taught together by their guru, as long the subject went up to madhurya rasa. But as Vrajanatha acknowledged that his attraction goes to sakya rasa, he was told that next time he should not come together with Vijaya, who said that his attraction goes to madhurya rasa. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura explains in his book the madhurya rasa, and everyone can read it. But maybe one should HEAR it from the bona fide guru, with more specific explanations. anadi
Sakhis who have the rati which is called tat tad bhava icchatmika do not desire to meet Krsna independently, but are keen to relish Srimati Radhika s sweet mood when She meets with Krsna. There are five types of sakhis, known respectively as sakhi nitya sakhi prana sakhi priya sakhi priyanarma sakhi. The sakhis who have equal sneha for Sri Radha and Krsna are known as sama sneha, whereas those who display more sneha towards one or other of Them are called visama sneha. Sakhis -- as Vrinda and Dhanistha are visama sneha , having more afection for Krsna. Nitya sakhis -- as Kasturi Manjari and Mani Manjari are also visama sneha but they have more afection for Srimati Radhika. Prana sakhis -- are the chief sakhis in the group of nitya sakhis The most prominent prana sakhi is Sri Rupa Manjari. Amongst the raganuga sadhakas only those who specifically follow the internal mood of Sri Rupa Manjari are rupanugas. Rupanuga sadhakas are those who with the external body follow the process of bhajana as shown by Srila Rupa Gosvami, and simultaneously with their internally conceived spiritual body follow the moods of Sri Rupa Manjari as she eternally serves Sri Radha Krnsa in Vraja. Rupanugavara Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami prays in his Sri Vilapa Kusumanjali tavaivasmi tavaivasmi na jivami tvaya vina iti vijnaya devi tvam naya mam caranantike He Devi Sri Radhike! I am yours! I am yours! I cannot live without You. Knowing this, please give me a place at Your lotus feet.
Guest guest
Krsna MUST reciprocate according to our degree of surrender, but He finds Himself unable to completely do so in the face of Radha's devotion. As Gauranga He assumes the role/mood of Gaurangi, attempting to experience what pleases Her most in Himself, so He can better satisfy Her. Krsna must remain the Supreme Enjoyer, yet He knows Radha's enjoyment of Him far exceeds His own! This is understood even better by Her girlfriends, particularly those manjaris who have no desire to personally enjoy with Him seperate from Her. They appear along with Lord Caitanya to deepen his Radha role/mood by serving Him as they would Radhika. This is the essence of the sankirtan movement and wholesale spreading of Krsna bhakti to even the most fallen by encouraging attachment to the Holy Names. As Lord Caitanya, Krsna confirms that all His potencies have been invested in His Holy Names. Thus service to Radha is through Harinama and spreading that ultimate mercy of Caitanyadeva assists Krsna in His goal of more fully reciprocating Radha's unlimited love, thereby satisfying both of Them simultaneously, along with all Their parts and parcels.
