Guest guest
"Na samdrse tisthati rupam asya, na caksusa pasyati kas canainam." "His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye." PONDER ON THIS!! [svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20] So God is unknown and unknowable and if no one sees him with the eye He must get pretty lonely. Sorry I don't buy this, many devotees have had visions of God and are seeing The Lord face to face, He isn't a big mystery, He wants you to see Him, to notice Him and by the Grace of He and His devotee you will, not that YOU can see Him, but HE can make Himself known to you. And it will be with spiritual vision, not these eyes of flesh. Otherwise what do you think Krsna Consciouness is? We are not atheist always wondering, We worship Govinda the beautiful three fold bending form of exquisite divine perfection for the eyes, and we are to cultivate a loving relationship with Him just as you would a true beloved friend. The Christians also say that "No man seeth the face of God and live." I say if you see the face of God, from that moment on you will start to live and your false self will die for eternity. But then there is the conradiction in the bible where Jesus states "that the pure of heart will see God" But no amount of imagination will afford us that vision, devotion to Gods devotee attracts God. Like when Srimate Radharani came into contact with the form of Narayan, Krsna had to come out of that form and reveal Himself in his two armed form, Her devotion is such. But that's a whole nuther plane. 'God is for Himself and by Himself,' but He also has friends and lovers.
