Guest guest
VCDs are made for UK and Asian countries and are therefore usually in the PAL format. Only some new models of DVD players in the US will handle PAL. Others in USA/Canada have to watch these vcds on their computers or patiently convert them to NTSC format vcds. One good idea would be for the London people to sell a set of vcds in the NTSC format for people in America.
Guest guest
Which DVD player? Joy
livingentity
I ordered the set from Krishna.org - has all the vcd's which includes documentaries and classes. Also, has every audio ever made of Prabhupada - bhajans, lessons, classes etc etc plus the Complete written works of Srila Prabhupada - all for $98.00. I got the package in record time all the way to the U.S. from Australia. It is high quality and worth so much more than was spent. It is BLISS!!! Hope I don't sound like I am advertising it - but I really do recommend this. I had no problem watching the vcd's on either my pc or my laptop. You can use Windows media player or your dvd.
