Key to a good lecture

I came across this in a book today. Einstein is reported to have said “You don’t really understand something unless you can communicate it in a simple way.” I think this is true. Only rarely do I find a really good lecturer, and I think the few that I have liked have always had this quality.

Some speak to impress how much they know

or how smart they are.

 

others speak to communicate,

transer their knowledge or message in a way the listener(s) can understand.
