Rebirth for the Realised Souls

There are many instances, where a realised soul has been said to have reincarnated again and again. The examples are plenty. Shri Raghavendra Swami of Mantralayam (AP) is supposed to have incarnated as the famous devotee Prahlad, later as Vyasaraya (Purandaradasa's Sadguru) previously. But Prahlad was a realised soul, so why did he have to take these subsequent births? That too, the realised souls have no desires left. Similarly, Shri RamdasSwami (from Maharashatra) is supposed to be the reincarnation of Anjaneya and the saint-poetess Janabai (Namdev's disciple) is supposed to be reincarnation of Kubja (the ugly looking maid working for Kamsa, who was made beautiful by the Lord Krishna). Can anyone shed some light on this?

If there is a dark, then defincately there will be a light some where. But you should have courage to find the real path. When there is a will you will get the way. He will show you the way, just keep on walking, that way goes directly to the desired destination. If you are passing through a bad patch, only our respected Saints only guide you and will show you the perfect way to come out and that only will give you the ut most satisfaction.

>>>"an attempt to bolster credibility by linking up with some famous personage of the past. Who knows. "

That's my guess too. Or maybe just over enthusiastic "disciples" who read more into situations than than can be proved.
