Gauracandra
Anyone know Srila Prabhupada's relationship with Yogi Bhajan? I have heard Srila Prabhupada had a very loving relationship with him, even though he would often strongly reject some of Yogi Bhajan's philosophy. I think his group was something like 3H or 4H (health, happiness, and something I think).
stonehearted
Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization. They had a very friendly relationship. Srila Prabhupada aways expressed respect for Guru Nanak, and always called Yogi Bhajan's bluff. I've heard conversations in which YB tried to convince Srila Prabhupada to attend one of his big interfaith conferences. He'd say that Srila Prabhupada could use the opportunity to preach Bhagavad-gita. Prabhupada would counter that Guru Nanak worshipped Krishna and revered Bhagavad-gita. YB would agree and cajole Prabhupada to come preach. Srila Prabhupada countered that if YB was convinced about the message of Bhagavad-gita, he could preach just as effectively. Srila Prabhupada wasn't interested in spending his valuable time at such affairs, where everyone pays lip service to ecumenism, but no one would faithfully hear his presentation of Krishna consciousness. He had been around the block a couple of times.
Gauracandra
I love it /images/graemlins/laugh.gif I can just see Srila Prabhupada being tough with him, calling his bluff, but still being very loving.
