Guest guest
Any way of using calm breathing to reduce stress while chanting is good. Focus on a deity and relax mind, muscles and try to achieve flowing breathing and transfer from the material to the spiritual. Perfection in Yoga has to do with discipline, concentration of devotion and putting your mind on the right plateau. Controlled breathing helps with all this. Gauracandra
Perhaps my answer should be in Health section, but one thing that really does work to assist breathing, are those breath right strips. You can get them at any drug store. These are the band aid like things you see football players have over their noses. Essentially it opens up the nasal passages. One yogic breathing technique (or so I’ve been told) is to push up with your fingers on the tip of your nose. It really does help you breath better, but it makes you look like a piggy /images/graemlins/smile.gif
