Vaishnava_das108
(although for many guru tattva is only Sri Balarama) "..all jivas are not liable to be eclipsed by the deluding potency. Those who are so liable are again distinct from the eternally free jivas. The eternally free jivas are inseparable associates of Nityananda. They are integrated part and parcels of Himself. They never fall into the clutches of maya. When Nityananda manifests His appearance on the mundane plane His inseparable constituents also appear in His company. They sometimes manifest their functions on this lower place in a visible form on the errands of Nityananda. They are Vaisnavas whose subordination to Nityananda is natural and ingrained in their nature. It is not necessary for such souls to undergo the process of enlightenment for being restored to the spiritual plane. Unless this fact is born in the mind the conditioned soul may be tempted to undervalue the constant guidance of the guru on the hypocritical plea of following in the footsteps of the eternally free pure devotees. Those, therefore, who suppose that deliverance from the bondage of this world should be practicable without the constant guidance of the spiritual preceptor, confound the conditioned state with the free. "The guidance of the guru is no curtailment of one's spiritual freedom. Those who are eternally free also follow his guidance by the spontaneous undeviating impulse of their perfectly pure nature. Guidance of the guru is the only divine guidance. Only atheists who are by their choice opposed to the service of Godhead, can be consistent opponents of the obligation to serve the guru in the same unconditional way as one should be prepared to serve Godhead Himself. There is no difference between the two functions. If the claim of the one is denied it necessarily involves the denial of the claim of the other. Nityananda and His companions form one of the five groups of the associates of Sri Krsna Caitanya, whose distinctive function is that of the guru. "But Nityananda does not directly instruct in the confidential service of Krsna. Srimate Radhika is the guru of the inner circle of the servants of Krsna. Srimati, however, accepts the offer of service of only those souls who are specially favored by Nityananda and are deemed by Him to be fit for Her service. There is, therefore a most intimate relationship between the function of Nityananda and that of Srimati which is at once supplementary and inclusive of the former." -- Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura. Guest guest
relax swami ji, i didn't know that you had been in contact with Sri Radha, i guessed i missed the memo. my understanding is a bit different, without instruction and guidance of the devotee of Krishna, there is no possibility of gaining the association of Radha, sure ultimately Radha is within our hearts at all times, but your qualification for that aspect of Bhagavan to reveal herself to you is gained by learning from the lotus feet of the devotee who is qualified and actually is in contact with Radha. Radha is only involved with rasa, until you are qualified to engage in rasa with her, you will be dealing with paramatma within yourself, not Radha. this knowledge and qualification is not something you can achieve by any amount of study, it is only given to the devotee of the devotee, trying to approach Radha directly without qualification is advised against by Krishna. It's like trying to be the kings friend, you think because you pay tax that supports the police, and know the representative of the king in the form of the police , therefore you try and approach the king to settle some dispute, this will not be allowed, the king's power may be present in the police but only the kings intimate friends may approach the king directly as a friend. so paramatma is like that, God is within us and all around us, but Radha is the queen, the highest aspect of God, only those who are qualified are accepted into HER confidance, trying to approach her directly without considering this reality is not advisable, it is the guru who is in that realm of confidance, that person can introduce you to Radha Krishna, in the Brhat Bhagavamrtam ,sage Narada introduces the jiva to Krishna , it is not done on ones own. anadi
I personally don't like the expresion Radha is an aspect of Bhagavan. These words make me unhappy. Radha is the emodiment of all love of Krsna. "I worship that Srimati Radhika, whose restless eyes , moving like flocks of khanjarita birds, playfully wander in all directions, constantly searching out Her prey , Sri Krsnacandra. Upon sighting Him, like and expert hunter She casts the arrows of Her provocative sidelong glances . She is the jasmine flower for the bumblebee Krsnacandra. Just as the jasmine elates the bumblebee, She gives great joy to Krsna heart, completely making Him Hers . She is very miysterious with Her countless deep qualities." Radhikaastakam (1), Rupa Gosvami
Guest guest
you dont like reality, get over it. Radha is an aspect of bhagavan, god. In fact she is the highest aspect, as bhaktivinode has said, she is the enjoying aspect of god, Radhika, if this disturbs you, you need to reevaluate your condition. The emotionalism of sahajiyas is based not on love or intimacy, it is based on trying to enjoy. the sahajiya constantly reads about the intimate pastimes, not understanding that they are not what they appeat to be,to the uninitiated. to the sahajiya, the sweet words and love poems, the material enjoying aspect of that lila is what they are really attracted to, they see themselves as the enjoyer of those pastimes, and have no idea that the things they read have a much deeper and confidential message that has nothing to do with the flowery descriptions that they are attracted to. the real raganuga bhakti is not concerned with the flowery descriptions and trying to imitate the emotions he reads, the real raganuga is actually in a rasa with Radha Krishna, not the mental fantasy of the sahajiya, but the real thing, their rasa is a give and take of real casual intimacy without the regulative meditations and ascending attitude of the sahajiya, it is not about trying to experience the rasa, it is about actual rasa, it's not about imaginary feelings and emotions, it is about real communication and real constant dialogue in a give and take ,back and forth , a real relationship.
