stonehearted
I understand there's also business that's not published (though, incredible as it may sound, I may be mistaken). However, I stand firmly with theist on this one. There's ususally far too much legislating and never enough sravanam and kirtanam. I know they've improved the meetings in many ways, but remember our ideal: kirtaniya sada harih.
Guest guest
"but remember our ideal: kirtaniya sada harih. " this is peraonal activity, any one can do it alone. it does not tell how to lead an org. When KC persons get united for a mission and form an org. to do it, the game is different. if all just keep doing kirtan sadaa (always) then a mission cannot progress. now if gbc entirely gives up kirtan, then it would not help. jai sri prabhuapada! Guest guest
Forgive me, but I seldom care about what the GBC have to say anymore. I hope they improve but doubt it. They are polititions and until that changes, I take care of my sadhana at home. What I do and don't do, read and don't read, who I associate with and don't, should not be their choice anyway. stonehearted
If they don't do enough kirtan, they're unfit to lead this organization, whose sole purpose is to spread the message that we should always chant Hare Krishna.
