One interesting angle is that her husband is likely to be prosecuted for double homicide given that her unborn child was killed. This will likely (in fact has already started to) fuel the abortion debate. A few years back there was discussion of extending health benefits to the unborn, and NOW and the rest opposed it because it granted rights to something that to them had no rights.
