Guest guest
That's the title of a book, referring to the fact that the Greek word Apocalypse means "lifting of the veil." It submits that the Christ/ Avatar/ Buddha/ Imam Mahdi/ Saoshyant will not come again, but delivers the promised message through a messenger. And, since Christianity is the dominant religion in the world, it utilizes Judeo-Christain scriptures to make its case. For example, it points out that the one who fulfills Christian prophecy is our "fellow servant and brother who has the testimony of Jesus." (Revelation 19:10) He is not the Christ, but his messenger. Visit http://realprophecyunveiled.netfirms.com One of the main themes is that in order for the humble, meek and faithful to inherit the earth, the proud, militant and sanctimonious must be rendered ashamed, contrite and powerless in the face of truth. Thus it turns the tables on the Religious Right, who have been claiming that they alone know the will of God, and it delivers the judgment promised in the Old and New Testament of the Bible. It's a very interesting and thought-provoking idea.
Guest guest
I discovered a gredat discussion about this book at: http://www.beliefnet.com/boards/discussion_list.asp?boardID=9829 It's on the thread titled "A Startling Discovery," posted by ClarionCall. I also found that there are a number of book reviews posted on Amazon.com for the book.
