Guruvani
Actually, it has been foretold in shastra that the spiritual movement of Mahaprabhu would rise in the east and set in the west. India gave birth to the movement but actually the movement will grow and mature in the western countries more so than in India. Srila Prabhupada created tirthas all over the world wherever his lotus feet traversed, so now India does not have any exclusive monopoly on spiritual culture. There are temples of Krishna all over the world now, so the whole world is actually part of Bharata-varsha once again. India is likely to face a nuclear demise in the future and Srila Prabhupada himself alluded to a nuclear holocaust for the future of India. Prabhupada said that most of his disciples were Indians in there previous lives and so they have already taken birth in India and acquired the merits to get the opportunity to be a part of Prabhupada's service to Mahaprabhu. Guest guest
I have nothing against your statements. Could very well be true. Yet, they are of a highly speculative nature. "Actually, it has been foretold in shastra that the spiritual movement of Mahaprabhu would rise in the east and set in the west. India gave birth to the movement but actually the movement will grow and mature in the western countries more so than in India. " Ok, show me the money. Ante-up. "Srila Prabhupada created tirthas all over the world wherever his lotus feet traversed, so now India does not have any exclusive monopoly on spiritual culture." And Srila Prabhupada was an Indian phenomenon. India always has and always will (I think) have a monopoly on spiritual knowledge. The highest truth is found there and nowhere else. Whatever significant knowledge we know, has come from India. Oh India has a monopoly. Nobody else even comes close. The rest of your statements are not principles to live your life by. Guest guest
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja gave a class in Washington D.C. The year was about 1975. There was an Indian man in the class who could not appreciate the message of Krishna Conscious that His Divine Grace was giving. To explain this irony of Indian people not taking to Krishna Consciousness, His Divine Grace said that Lord Caitanya requested all people born in India to preach the message of Krishna consciousness all over the world but the Indian people did not follow this instruction. Consequently Lord Caitanya cursed the Indian people to become impersonalists. On another occasion His Divine Grace explained that the Indian people are naturally Krishna conscious. It is easy for them to take to Krishna Conscious. But, somehow, they have turned away from Krishna. Although they are closer to Krishna they have turned their backs on Him. On another occasion, His Divine Grace called the Indians who came west who came to take and not give, new crows. Crows newly coming to a garbage heap will like to eat the garbage more than the crows that have been there a longer time and are less enthusiastic about eating the garbage. Similarly, Indians coming to the West are more enthusiastic for material gain than the westerners who are somewhat tired of it.
