ggohil
It is said that certain Mantras possess enormous powers to helping the process of self-realization. Most Mantras are in Sanskrit. Do the Mantras lose it's powers if translated in other languages?
Guest guest
srila prabhupada says that mahamantra does not lose his power if we do not know the meaning.. because a mantra is krishna, is the deity in form of a sound and it has a reality, an existence in itself even if we do not understand of course knowing is recommended to be more convinced in our practice krsna is the supreme personality of godhead the sound of his name is the supreme personality of godhead his statue or painting is the supreme personality of godhead his name written in devanagari is the supreme personality of godhead
