Guest guest
GOLD FOR KRISHNA His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada You have asked, “Could we use alchemy to make gold for Krishna’s altar?” I cannot follow what you mean by using alchemy for Krishna’s altar, but if you can make Krishna’s sitting place made of gold, either by alchemy or by purchasing gold, it will be a grand success. But I do not advise you to take advantage of alchemy for making gold. It is not certain. We should not waste our time on that which is not very sure. If you can manufacture gold, then we can very soon spread our Krishna Consciousness. But I think that Krishna will not give us that opportunity because as soon as we get a large quantity of gold then we will forget Krishna. That nature is incumbent in our character. — Letter to Rupanuga, 3 July 1968.
gHari
Fortunately my Hari takes it all away again, and I am once more His dog. I think I've finally learned though. But then I always think I've finally learned. Oh Krsna, what is to be done with me? gHari
Guest guest
----by Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja Out of mercy Lord Hari takes away everything. Hari means, "He who takes away, who steals everything". He even steals the mind and the heart. This is nice stealing, and it is very beautiful. He is known as 'cauragraganya', the best of all thieves, the supreme thief.
Guest guest
"Beware The Busy Fool" Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.16.23 Hawaii, January 19, 1974 Hari, hari means "who takes away all your miserable conditions." Hari, haran, harati. Harati means take away. He comes here just to give you benediction, to save you from all kinds of miseries. Therefore His name is Hari. Yasyaham anugrhnami, er, yasya aham anugrhnami, anugrhnami... I forget now. Krsna says that "When I shows to somebody special favor, I take away all his possessions." That is special favor.
