Where can I read about the 'life' of Krishna?

Hare Krsna,

 

Fellow devotees,

 

Where will I be able to read about Krishna's lifetime here on Earth. From His 'birth' to His 'transmigration'from earth? I always hear stories, but I would like to know the facts. I am South African, and hence, like much of our people here, we are not conversant in Sanskrit, or Hindi for that matter, so kindly refrain from requesting that I read something other than English....

 

Please assist.
