Guest guest
Who Wants To Marry My Daughter? Bob Oakes SOUTHBRIDGE (2003-08-15) It started with an open letter on the editorial page of the Southbridge Evening News one week ago today. The headline was "Who Wants To Marry My Daughter?" Southbridge resident Donna Wood's letter says she and her daughter Kim Devlin are holding open auditions for a fiance this Sunday. Applicants must bring a photograph of themselves and an essay explaining why they think they would make a good husband for Kim. The project has all the hallmarks of a reality TV show except there are no cameras. WBUR's Bob Oakes visited Donna Wood and Kim Devlin at their Southbridge home were Donna told him she thought of this idea long before Hollywood. LETTER TO THE EDITOR: "Who wants to marry my daughter? To the Editor: Hello Men! My daughter is 22 years old, never been married and has a beautiful 4-year-old daughter. She is 4'11 and weighs 90 pounds. A few of her interests are music, chick flicks, horse-back riding and long walks. She is a great mother and a beautiful warm-hearted woman. The problem is she has no luck with men. My husband and I are looking to find her a soul- mate. We are looking for men ages 21-30, no criminal record (we will find out), non-married, having children is okay, you must love dogs, have a good job and transportation. If you think you could be the "one" for my daughter, and have the same interests, you could have a chance to meet her Sunday, Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. The address is as follows: 89 Lebanon Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 You must bring a photo and write us a short essay on why we should pick you to marry our daughter. Serious guys only. If you are really interested and are looking for a serious relationship, this is the girl to meet and be with for the rest of your life. Any questions feel free to call me at (508) 764-7669. Ask for Donna.
Govindaram
Hare Krishna "She is 4'11" Taller! Taller! Taller! She'd after be at least 5'11, and a Krishna devotee, otherwise forget it /images/graemlins/grin.gif I will become a Bramachari. There's a funny story: "Krsna said to one old lady, 'You are so ugly, you should marry a monkey.' "'No', said the old lady, 'I have given up all material desires. I will marry you, Krsna!' "'Yes! Yes! Yes!' All the gopis and boys clapped and laughed." While Prabhupada said this, his eyes lit up and he became very animated, laughing at the humorous pastimes of Krsna. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif ------- nitai-gauranga, nitai-gauranga jayasacinandana, gaura-hari All glories to Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya! the son of Saci-devi, who is Krsna Himself in golden hue.
Streetstraw
Amazing how polygamy solves so many modern-day problems, therefore, almost everyone opposes it. Americans like to keep their problems right where they are. If you give a fool good advice he becomes angry. Intelligent faithful women seek protection + 1-2 more kids. Avoid the rest.
