RAVISHANKAR Saturday, September 6, 2003 - Page A24 Ottawa -- Last week, you wrote about the twin bombings in Mumbai (Bombay) and noted how the world will judge India based on the reaction of Indians to this ghastly incident (How India Responds To The Bombay Attacks -- editorial, Aug. 27). You were concerned that the country's leaders were making statements that could incite further divisions and violence. While the tragedy is too fresh in people's mind -- anything can still happen if some are bent on causing trouble -- the country at large, and Mumbai in particular, have shown remarkable patience and have remained peaceful. "Don't screw blood relations, don't steal, don't kill (unless you're compelled by a lofty sense of religious duty!), blah blah blah, Allah is the one true God" . . .
