Govindaram
for bhakta/matas who stop chanting hare-krishna, what advice can you give? I thought I would sign in as guest, but I just say, that for past 4 days i stopped chanting my rounds, it is the first time in 2 years, 8 months 16 rounds, I know why it happened (i think), i criticized a pure devotee, without even almost knowing it, i never thought this day would ever come, this is a very good lesson for me, i had help from a pure devotee in Vraj, but i wanted to tell my story. this is what happens when you criticize. Stay away from bhakta's who criticize. I feel ashamed that i participated in this forum the last 4 days also.. i didn't have to say all these things, but it is for the benefit of aspiring Krishna's. Believe me when I say I have tears in my eyes...I will keep chanting though! Hopefuly I won't regret this post. -------------------- Sri Radha-Krishna harinama is the cure (anti-virus) criticizing is the disease (virus)
I_love_krishna_
G :"i criticized a pure devotee, without even almost knowing it, i never thought this day would ever come, this is a very good lesson for me, i had help from a pure devotee in Vraj, but i wanted to tell my story. this is what happens when you criticize." I think the pure devotee of the lord never gets criticism prabhu, if he feels criticized then that would mean that he is not a pure devotee. If you think about it , How can one criticize a soul who is protected under the shelter of Srimati Radharani and Krishna? So, I think you need to forget about everything and start working for krishna again. The offense is a perceived notion in the mind and is not real for one engaged in his duty. You just need some encouragement to chant /images/graemlins/wink.gif Think of how happy krishna will be, dancing on your tongue like that or think how happy radha will be, seeing you ready to serve krishna. Also, you are better than me , I get exhausted after 5 to 6 rounds, atleast you have chanted all 16 rounds for 2 years. I can't do that, Yet. ( oh yea, if he is a pure devotee and was mad at you for some reason, I think he will forgive you right away ... considering he is a pure devotee) /images/graemlins/grin.gif
Guest guest
I don't know where you are, but if i were you, and it was possible, i would just go to the temple and bow down before the dieties and pray. I always feel better when i look at the deities. Sometimes chanting rounds can still be a little mechanical and i feel better standing in the temple and just looking at the dieties, it seems more personal. Tomorrow you can start chanting a fixed number of rounds again.
