Govindaram
Lord Krishna possess All renunciation.. he does not depend on anybody.. there's a pastime in the Krishna Book in which He leaves the company of the Gopis..etc.. this was krishna displaying His opulance of renunciation, which i'm sure means in a way loneliness as well, but in a good way /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Guest guest
If we want to make God our role model we need to look at Sri Ram, because his whole life is the model of the path of dharma, bhakthi and renounciation. If you want to listen to what he says (if that is easier than figuring it out by looking at the model), then you should look at Sri Krishna, because he tells you clearly how you need to be if you want long lasting happiness. Looking at his actions as models for us will not be profitable, because he may show his opulence of renounciation but then again he marries almost every one of them and enjoys their company seperately, thats not a good role model, but then again you can say that he is showing people not to be a terrible role model like he is in many stories. Govindaram
i was reffering to krishna sweet pastime, to give an example that krishna possess All renunciation, so we must have this in minute quantity as well, being able to go with-out, but not for long periods. thats my thought.. i was not talking about imitating krishna in any way.. some instances in krishna's life are for our example though i.e. accepting a Guru/meditating on Krishna. jai sri krishna!
