Can we worship the alter for first 11 days . Can we shave or cut our nails in first 11 days. Can we chant holy mantra ( I think this is yes). Can we offer the food to Krishna . Hari Bol. Govindaram Posted November 4, 2003 Report Share Posted November 4, 2003 hare krishna i would like to know this as well, coming from hindu family we do all these things, too complicated for me to say what (plus i can't remember), somebody told my mum you can't offer food to krishna when somebody dies in the family for 11 days or something not sure, i just said krishna doesn't stop eating (and nor do we!!) so just offer np.
