Guest guest
What are the benefits of mustard seed oil? I know male devotees use it for their scalp after shaving. Also, I think Prabhupada used it for massage. Why mustard seed oil of all things? It doesn't smell good at all.
Kalki
Mustard seed oil is used topically for arthritus (Non-Pitta dosha agrivated type) and also as a body massage oil for Kapha and Vata dosha types. It is also used to cure Swas Roga (Asthma) Mixed equal parts Mustard oil and jaggary (raw sugar) and make into pills for this condition. Guest guest
Mustard seed oil is massaged into the skin after taking a shower or bath, to replenish the skins oils (therefore creating elasiticity and reducing rinkles) and because of its anti bactirial effects, it is used to destroy parasites, fungai, and bacteria. You apply the oil to your body before drying or wiping your self with a towel, be sure not to aply the oil to sensitive parts of your body, i.e. anus, penis, face, scalp, neck. For my face, I use coconut oil, for variouse reasons. also, for healthy skin, consume 2-6 table spoons of flax seed or hemp nut oil, daily.
