ancient_paztriot
Hridyananda… … Uh, vasu, the wealth, does not extend to us. In other words, you are not distributing. So this incident of the cow - who is of coarse… the cow represents Bhumi, the Earth - is very interesting example which can be understood on different levels. On one level we can understand that the modern leaders of the world do not properly distribute food grains. There was an interesting case in Ethiopia I think, where the government spent millions and millions of dollars for their own luxury, but the people were starving to death. This was a very graphic example. There are many places in the world where there is not proper distribution. There is gross selfishness. And the leaders do not distribute. Also, we can understand the position of a devotee who does not preach Krsna consciousness is also something like this. In other words, we have recieved so many spiritual resources or opulences - spiritual knowledge - from Srila Prabhupada… Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Krsna. So if we do not distribute, then again we shall be punished in the form of being overwhelmed by material desire. Caitanya Mahaprabhu said whomever you meet, tell them the message of Krsna. By My order become a guru. That means to become a preacher of Krsna consciousness. Prabhupada is called (Sanskrit)… it means you deliver this land. It doesn't matter whether one is born in a brahman family. .................. Prabhupada said if we know three things: Lord Krsna is the supreme enjoyer, He is the supreme proprietor - of all planets - and He is the well-wisher of all living beings. .................. We can't enjoy material things, nor give them up.
