Govindaram
Hare Krishna I have a question: When our Karma is burned-up, by devotional service, do we at once recieve full-knowledge? and love of godhead.. if this is so, then i would say getting rid of our karma is such a big priority, because Krishna Consiousness doesn't produce any good/bad results, any thoughts, or have i just answered the question myself?lol
Guest guest
When our Karma is burned-up, by devotional service, do we at once recieve full-knowledge? and love of godhead.. •••burned karma does not coincide with love of god.. one can obtain only liberation (by the sufferings) and not love (like the demons killed by krsna).. but you have said "by devotional service" .. and the service brings love.. and full love for krsna means that we are back in the spiritual world and sat (ethernal) cit (conscious) ananda (bissful) if this is so, then i would say getting rid of our karma is such a big priority, because Krishna Consiousness doesn't produce any good/bad results, any thoughts, or have i just answered the question myself?lol •••we want krishna, liberation is not our main goal, it is not as good as to have a full relationship of ethernal love with sri krsna bhagavan in goloka vrindavan. We chant Hare krishna, we ask to Radhe to give us Krishna, not to free us from karma. And, it is the only thing to do, we have to obtain love of god, we are in kaly yuga, there's no other dharma, religion, achievement. If we were in other yugas being big meditators, big devotees, big yogis and big... demons, we would have some hope to obtain liberation by yoga, sacrifices, tapasya and so on.. or being so big and evil to call the supreme policeman to kill us. But it is not possible in this era, so the highest goal, LOVE, now becomes the only thing to desire and the easiest
Guest guest
No separate effort required. We can't get rid of our karma by any other way but chanting Hare Krishna.
