Bhagavad-Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Caitanya Caritamrita, Nectar of Devotion, at what point should we read NOD? Any devotees know?
Guest guest
you can read it while you read the other things.. like krsna book.. it is very esoteric but the explanations of srila prabhupada do not leave space to speculations or sahajaisms... maybe for bhakti rasamrita sindhu the approach could be different.. but NOD is ok for me please correct me if i am wrong
Jahnava Nitai Das
Certainly the first half of Nectar of Devotion is especially suitable for new devotees to study as it instructs us on the rules and regulations of performing devotional service. Study of it is included in most bhakta programs.
Guest guest
I found that Bhaktivedanta College of Education and Culture has a good system.....Vaisnava ettiquette, Science of Self realisation, Spiritual master and disciple, Bgita, NOI, Isopanisad, NOD, ...the last 4 make up Bhakti satri which Srila Prabhupada wanted his followers to do....then SB the CC....They have travelling preachers that come train dev in ur area to teach and preach....no cost besides preachers airfare....
