ancient_paztriot
Hridayananda… … then the people that had to fight to… otherwise, the country was just being taken over. You understand? Arjuna wasn't just some hoodlum in the street going around and shooting arrows at people - because he thought God was on his side. He was duly elected government. It was according to the law, the right of dharma that he had a right to govern. So due to corruption it was not given. They were being cheated, so many laws were broken against the Draupadi, against the Pandavas. So things had to be rectified. Also, the Earth was being overburdened. That was also Krsna's plan. There were so many demoniac rulers. Krsna brought them in one place and dispatched them. Actually, the only reason the world is as peaceful as it is… the only reason to think there isn't just like utter tyranny and torture is because Krsna got rid of so many of these demons. People don't appreciate what the world would have been like if Krsna hadn't gotten rid of so many demons. ........................ There was also in the argument by Arjuna in the Bhagavad-gita about the eternal family tradition being lost. I think that's an interesting contrast.
