Surrender means you act, you think, you do so many things, but you do so in a way with love for God. That's all. Actually, this idea of surrender… Sometimes people say if I just accept the scriptures, then where is my own intellectual life? But actually if you don't surrender to the scriptures, you surrender to some other framework - intellectual framework - which you have to surrender to. If you want to be a material scientists, you have to accept so many rules and regulations, so many previous theories, so many methodologies. You surrender to these things. So just like we discussed before of faith, you must have faith in something. Similarly, in order to engage in intellectual activity you must surrender to some particular system of thought… and actually surrender to it.
