ancient_paztriot
This judge needs a rest. He needs early retirement. Judge Shoots Boy for Throwing Snowballs BERLIN (Reuters) - A German judge took the law into his own hands and peppered a teen-ager with lead shot when snowballs went astray and hit the wall of his house, a court in the northern town of Lueneburg said Wednesday. "Two 16-year-olds were having a snowball fight, and the judge's house got hit. Then the light went on, the door opened, and a shotgun fired off two rounds," said court spokesman Juergen Wigger. "The judge was alone at home." He said one of the boys' mothers saw her son had been shot in the arm and called the police who arrested the 55-year-old judge and confiscated the firearm. Investigations were continuing.
Dervish
Judges have too much authority nowadays, and not enough watchdogs. They wield a great deal of power, and have a capacity to damage people around them. Like this German Judge, and also former NY Judge Sol Watchler. Tarun
Our president wasn't elected; judges selected someone who has already declared 2 illegal pre-emptive wars in which so many kids were shot + killed. Question: so far harming kids is concerned, how much more guilty r those judges?
Dervish
This should serve as a correction to those who insist that George W Bush got less votes than Gore. Bush won the election 5-4. It's just too bad the rest of the country's opinion did not matter. Look at the flag at your local supreme courthouse. It has gold trim on it. It's a maritime/military flag, where the captain of the ship has absolute unquestionable power. It's too bad the judges in this country can act on malice (a quote uttered by a US District court judge believe it or not)
Tarun
Indeed, satire itself is required because politicians never accept plain straightforward fact. "The play's the thing to capture the King" So long they r held in public captivity, e.g. betwixt ape & wildcat cages, visible to all, till their asenine associates pay back all 87 billion they r wasting in Iraq + all they wasted in Afghanisthan + all ENRON stole etc. we r satisfied. Gov't with Money Back Guarantees - who could ask 4 anything more? Judgement Day here on Earth - Terra Firma - who can wait?
