Guest guest
Hare Krishna! What are vedas and where can I get an interpretation (not mere translation) of vedas online? Who are the well-known commentators and who is the best amongst them?
livingentity
means contaminated by our perverted material senses. You wnat a translation that is presented as they are not as the person translating wants them to appear to satisfy his/her ego.
Guest guest
from sanskrit to english wouldnt be sufficient. I've read that sort of thing and frankly, couldnt make sense of it. It sounded like rustic poetry, so I was thinking whether there were symbolisms and stuff. If thats the case, then an interpretation would be cool, you see? Guest guest
Where can the actual 4 vedas be found on the net with commentary? I'm not talking about vedic supplementaries like puranas and upanishads.
Kulapavana
I know Rig Veda is on the net, I'm not sure about Yajur, Sama and Atharva. Do a google search to see what turns up. Sacred Texts site has some fragments, but the translations are rough
