The family members are not spiritual even if that girl is spritual. She doesnt have enough money to get a higher degree. She would only want to get a degree because her family expects her to do it. Guest guest Posted April 25, 2004 Report Share Posted April 25, 2004 Often times, we all do things in order to take the path of least resistance, conveniance, etc. This girl should take advantage of her parents offer to he in providing education, and use that education in the service to the supreme lord. It may seem like an un-spiritual arrangement, but Krsna accepts any service given in love. If Krsna is the REASON for ones actions, the actions become spiritual in themselves. One may be a sincere sweeper of the street, but this service is non-different than the pujari work performed by brahmanas. A sudra is the legs of the body, the brahmana is the head. A head is useless without legs, arms and belly, so it does not matter where one fits on the universal form, it is the consciousness. Read the Karma Yoga section of Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad Gita As It Is. good fortune, and do not artificially reject anything thinking it cannot be utilized in krsna's service.
