krsna
Kalidas,in the Caitanya Bhagavat, took remnants of food of the vaisnavas, neophyte vaisnavas, advanced vaisnavas, vaisnavas who were born in brahminical families and sudra families. He made no discrimination. He was actually inspired to take the remnants, because he had faith in all the vaisnavas. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta explains in his commentary in Sri Caitanya Bhagavata, that this state of consciousness is achieved as a result of association of highly advanced devotees. Therfore,by taking association with the advanced devotee we can take the essence : we can see the benefit of associating with all devotees. Later, Lord Caitanya let Kalidas take the water from His feet and gave him His food remnants as well.
