Does anyone know that the drink "Bhanga" is considered an intoxicant? Should we refrain from it for the "No Intoxication" vow?

"Bhanga" is the drink that is commonly taken during Shiva Ratri, holy etc. in India.

Bhanga does contain marijuana and is an intoxicant. My guess would be if you have taken a vow of no intoxicants, then yes, you should probably avoid it yaar.

bhang is one of the holiest plants in the owlrd and has been worshipped by many religions ands races for thousands of years.

if you can get to know the power of bhang and find out to control it and how to control your brain while intoxicated with it and meditate, then it can not be equaled by any thing on this planet. although it should not be used by the untrained or common-man as it can leave permenant damaging effects if the particular first time user is of a weak mind power.

we should not be debating if bhang is good or bad rather trying re-discover the correct uses of bhang and how many different products it can provide man with. in many ways bhang is second only to the cow in the amount of uses it gives to human beings.
