krsna
There is the wonderful story of Srila Prabhupada standing in front of the deities and praying. One devotee was bold enough to ask Srila Prabhupada afterwards what he was praying for. Srila Prabhupada said he was praying for Krishna’s protection and that he would never fall down from the transcendental platform. This puzzled this devotee so much especially as Srila Prabhupada has declared just prior to this that he would never fall down. Therefore the devotee asked Srila Prabhupada to explain this apparent contradiction. Srila Prabhupada in his great kindness replied that he would never fall down because he was asking Krishna to protect him .

vanamali
ksipram bhavati dharmatma sasvac-chantim nigacchati kaunteya pratijanihi na me bhaktah pranasyati He quickly becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O son of Kunti, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes. yatra yogesvarah krsno yatra partho dhanur-dharah tatra srir vijayo bhutir dhruva nitir matir mama Wherever there is Krsna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality. That is my opinion.
