krsna
Like nitya-siddhas who come to this material world from Krsnaloka to preach to the fallen conditioned souls? I am not a devotee in the same sense as those specially empowered and chosen personalities ,acaryas and pure devotees of the Lord who are eternally perfected souls. I am nitya baddha or eternally bound by Maya since time immemorial. Whereas the nity-siddhas are eternally liberated and are never ever covered by Maya. Doesn't this understanding make all the difference in how we apprach the whole endeavor of 'becoming a devotee'.?
Govindaram
Bg.6.14 {excerpt} The living entities belong to the eternal superior nature of the Lord, but due to contamination by the inferior nature, matter, their illusion is also eternal. The conditioned soul is therefore called nitya-baddha, or eternally conditioned. No one can trace out the history of his becoming conditioned at a certain date in material history. ____ What if we flipped this quote over, is would be same for Nitya-siddha na? yes? Govindaram
Nitya-siddha- At what point did we become Liberated? Nitya-bhadda- At what point did we become Conditioned? Ask Krsna. Its all our own fault Prabhu. There must be certain souls, who never desire to leave the side of Krsna. If somebody goes to Goloka they are Eternally Liberated. Its our choice, don't you think? Sorry if you don't understand what I'm saying, its not easy explaining 'Eternal'.
theist
To me a Krsna Conscious person is a Krsna Conscious person. Rather if someone has been in the material world before or not should make no difference. Consider that a Krsna conscious person IS coming to you NOW from the spiritual world. That person IS NOW a resident of the spiritual sky. What is the difference? Narada Muni is spoken of as an incarnation right? Its like if you are trying to remember something that you once knew and have temporaily forgotten, does it make a difference that you had once forgotten it once you remember it? Govindaram
Narada Muni is spoken of as an incarnation right? He came as Shrivasa Pandita and he is also Mudhumangala in Krsna-lila, but he is also son of a maid, where he took Maha-Maha-prasadam and became the Greatest devotee, so was this a Lila? Since Narada Muni is Eternally manifest as Madhumangala? Oh Man, spiritual life eh, more questions than answers!
theist
If no one is raised from illusion to clarity then why should anyone bother preaching? What meaning would there be to devotees mercy or Krsna's mercy? The alternative would be once fallen eternally fallen with no hope for redemption. Now where have we heard that before? No, change of heart is possible, in fact it is our only hope. Hare Krsna
