Pankaja_Dasa
Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Quote from a Lecture by... Srila Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Maharaja: It is not wise to leave chanting of the Lord's name, thinking that the material thoughts come to our mind while chanting the transcendental name. Gradually by accepting the transcendental name these unnecessary thoughts vanish and the transcendental name will arise as a Sun with its self-eflulgence. Pankaja_Dasa
Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Maharaja: Only if you will be repeating of Divine Name you could become happy. All throughout the life you will be happy. You will be happy. If we hear one, we are chanting so many times namam, Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna. They will be purified. They will never born again. They will enjoy the internal nectar. And we will be happy.
Guest guest
"OM SRHEE KILIM KRISHNAYA GOVINDAYA GOPIJANAVALLABHAYA SWAHA" In RIK VEDA, MAHA VISHNU's name is mentioned as one of the three Trinity DEITIES! Please read: "RIK Book 1: Hymn10 L THREE Here, being manifested, lofty VISHNU, full wise, protects his own supremest station. When they have offered in his mouth their sweet milk, to him with one accord they sing forth praises". IT also talks about food offering as in "NAIVEDHYA" to LORD VISHNU! I love LORD VISHNU and MAHALAKSHAMI and pray to BOTH on Fridays! MAY LORD shiva bless you all today!
Guest guest
the maha mantra is chanting hare krsna. Bhakti is every day, not just on fridays. Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. When you worship krsna everyone else counts, when you worship everyone other then krsna then it is imcomplete. Like when you water a plant you water the root(krsna) not the leaves(demigods)

gHari
From Sri Caitanya Upanishad:

14. Namany astav asta ca sobhanani. tani nityam ye japanti dhiras te vai mayam atitaranti nanyah paramam mantram parama-rahasyam nityam avartayanti.
namani--names; astau asta ca--eight plus eight; sobhanani--beautiful; tani--those names; nityam--regularly; ye--those who; japanti--chant; dhirah--sober persons; te--they; vai--certainly; mayam--the illusory energy; atitaranti--cross over; na--not; anyah--another means; paramam--transcendental; mantram--mantra; parama-rahasyam--the supreme secret; nityam--regularly; avartayati--one should repeat. These sixteen names are supremely beautiful. Those who chant them regularly are sober persons who are able to cross beyond the illusory energy. There is no other means. One should repeat this mahamantra which is the supreme secret, regularly. Sri Caitanya-Caranamrta commentary by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura: This mantra's quality of yielding fruits to the devotees is apparent. By regularly chanting this mantra consisting of sixteen names, the devotees transcendentally cross beyond the state of being overcome by the illusory, material energy. There is no other means than this. Even the eternally perfect souls regularly repeat this mantra for the sake of their own dharma.
