Guest guest
You could find it in www.sacred-texts.com. Check under hinduism and there is Mahabharata. There is a total of 18 books, but this site does not have 5 or 6 books.
Guest guest
but that site contained inferior material. I want a translation, which might be more professional and comprehensive. It should make me feel as if I am there, participating in the great war.
Guest guest
Online, I am afraid there is not. Some of the original texts can be found at sanskrit.gde.to Gita Press has a translation from Sanskrit to Hindi. I believe Krishna Mohan Ganguli is the only one who survived long enough to translate the entire mahabharat, verse for verse into English. Others have attemped but some have only gotten up to 1/3 of the way. I suppose you can get an ISKCONized version of it by Krishna Dharma, but I do not think it is online. But, at the moment there are two chapters missing. Here it is if you still want it. In ZIP format, total of 18 chapters.
