Guest guest
A twenty-four year old devotee attending the Gurukula Reunion named Kulvalesvara gave class this morning in New Dwaraka. He talked about carving Jagannath Dieties ten years ago (How fortunate!). Are these the Jagannath Dieties that are presently being worshipped in New Dwaraka? He also mentioned his mother and father and sister. Could someone please tell me their names?
stonehearted
I think it's Kuvalesaya. His father is Nara-narayan, and his mother is Niscintya (who's currently married to Rishabhadeva). His sister is Shakuntala. He and Shakuntala helped their father, who is an immensely talented artist and renaissance man, carve the Jagannath murtis that are worshiped at the LA temple. Kuvi is a really nice guy, and Shakuntala is a sweet devotee. I have great admiration and affection for Nara-narayan. I'm happy to count this family among my friends.
