Guest guest
True. when you read Sri Garuda purana, the noble souls and Lord visnu's servants (vishnu ganams) will surround you to listen it so if you affected some black magic effects or sorcery then instanly the unblessed souls, which sent by bewitch(s), escaped from victim and punish the sender. It is not myth. I checked it on some victims. How is it worked? Garuda purana explains the life after death and it says, in your life time, give donation to the poor in any kinds money, annathanam, build structures for public use and etc.. so the soul after death will get hell or heaven as per their doings. The hell is discribed widely in this purana by hundreds of slogams. So, The unblessed souls of bewitch are treating as an convicted escaped prisnor so, when Garuda puranam read a page or a slogam before the victim or lighting a cantle or ghee filled five faces light lamp in the house, The god's servants will catch them for punishment. Is it true that it do not read read in the house? My opinion is NO becasue Lord Sri Krishna said in The Bhagavad Gita that no one knows what was happned before birth and will know after death. visit http:\\srigita.sath.in. And Think Logically, You never know your last birth and what you got, after death, hell or heaven before this birth and it will be same in this birth and after death and at the time of rebirth. SO THE GARUDA PRANAM SAYS ONLY THAT SPEND YOUR LIFE USEFULLY TO HELP SOMEONE POOR IN ANY MANNER WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR HAND AND PACKET. Do not affraid to read this book. Read and think logically what it is saying. hey guys....here is a fact about garuda puraanam that is true.... You should never try to read the book at home u know why? Some enormous powerful spirits will suround u if they hear this puranam...according to history....Even sages will read the book by the river banks..as they can take a bath immediately after reading it...As powerful souls surrond u and conquer u..That is wat i know frm history..If this info is wrong pls 4 give me..... If u have any queries regarding this puraanam pls feel free to mail me....at prasadakshay@.sg ok deal...

Guest guest
punishments given in hell when we commit a sin I thought Hindus didnt believe in punishment to scare people to be good, rather they rationally explain the law of Karma (effects of ones action); and that bad actions will have bad effects in future lifetimes? Guest guest
Radhe Krishna, Garuda puraanam is read during the ten days of mourning after the death of a person. the yathra of the dead person to the other lokaas in a different sharira is explained. bhakthas reach the abode of their devatha after the death. but those who have committed punya and paapa go to swarga and narakaa to enjoy for punyaa and suffer for paapaa respectively. The yathra to yama loka is described in garuda puraana. the jeeva is given a sharira called yaathanaa sharira - that is a body for suffering. in this body which is meant for suffering, until the punisher the yama bhataas consider that the punishment is over, there is no death and only suffering. Radhe krishna Everyone has committed some paapa, except born saints? so devotees of for example the Christian God or Krsna will be forgiven and not have to go to narakaloka? Guest guest
Namaste, namaskaram Jaya Ganesha Who always Guides us on the Right Path! The Vedic-Agamic Cosmology describes an inner and outer universe. There are 3 worlds, 14 planes, 5 spheres, and 36 evolutes. The three worlds are: 1) Karana Loka or the Causal Plane The Spiritual World 2) Antar Loka The subtle plane or the astral plane There is a higher, middle, and lower astral plane as well as a sub-astral plane below Bhu-loka called Naraka also known as Antar Loka or the netherworld 3) Bhu Loka The Earth Plane ******************************* Next, there are fourteen planes of existence: 7 planes of existence correspond to the seven chakras or seven states of consciousness ABOVE the muladhara chakra 7 planes of existence BELOW the muladhara chakra They are: BHU LOKA 1) Bhu Loka earth plane muladhara chakra in between Bhu and Bhuvar is Preta Loka world of the departed earth bound spirits in the lower astral plane aka Preta Loka ANTAR LOKA 2) Bhuvar Loka plane of atmosphere svadhishthana chakra includes Pitr Loka, world of ancestors in the middle lower astral plane aka Pitr Loka 3) Svarga Loka celestial plane manipura chakra middle astral plane 4) Mahar Loka plane of greatness anahata chakra higher astral plane aka Deva Loka KARANA LOKA 5) Jana Loka creative plane visuddha chakra 6) Tapoloka plane of austerity ajna chakra 7) Satya Loka plane of Reality aka Brahma Loka sahasrara chakra Now, from BHU LOKA downward, there are 7 states of existence or consciousness below the muladhara chakra These planes of existence are called NARAKA LOKA -1) plane of existence: Put meaning: without bottom atala chakra Fear and lust -2) plane of existence: Avichi meaning: region of the lost vitala chakra Raging anger -3) plane of existence: Samhata meaning: great lower region sutala chakra Retaliatory jealousy -4) plane of existence: Tamisra meaning: under the bottom level talatala chakra Prolonged confusion -5) plane of existence: Rijisha meaning: lower region of moisture rasatala chakra Selfishness -6) plane of existence: Kudmala meaning: greatest lower region mahatala chakra Consciencelessness -7) plane of existence: Kakola meaning: lower region of wickedness patala chakra Malice and Murder So you can see that hell is states of consciousness. **************************** People are tortured in hell in this life by their consciousness. There are also certain parts of this planet that have hellish conditions, say like in a War zone primarily most of the people are in Naraka even they are on this earth. However in a war zone sometimes some people who are very highly evolved can keep their consciousness above the muladhara chakra. In addition, you can also see what happens to you after death. Whatever your consciousness is at the time of death, you will attain that state without fail say some rsis. Other rsis say that whatever was the highest chakra you attained in this lifetime, then that is the chakra by which you will exit the human body. So say a person is a Christian, it depends on their consciousness at the time of death and the highest chakra they attained in this life, as well as their sinful activities or papa. For example are they meat-eating Christians or vegetarian who offer their food to the Almighty? Did they persecute and harm people of other religions such as Hindu and Islam? Also, were they cremated or were they buried in the Earth? If they were buried in the Earth then they will be Earth bound either Preta if very sinful like meat-eating, womanizing, brute mentality after suffering in Naraka. Or if somewhat pious, then attain Pitr Loka before reincarnating again. ************************* I hope this answered your questions. If any more questions, please keep on posting on thie thread or elsewhere. source: Hinduism's Contemporary Metaphysics, pages 1114 - 1119.
