Inside soma circle there is sUrya/sun circle. In human beings, within sUrya circle lamp-shape agni is present. It/he helps in food digestion taken along with various vegetable preparations. Agni in lamp-form is covered with glass shell as embryo with amniotic membrane. Herein it’s said agni has no separate existence. Pitta is agneya PERMEATED WITH AGNI ATTRIBUTES causing burning, digestion etc. Ergo pitta is treated secondarily as antaragni. When agni attributes in pitta r reduced, then similar substances r added/administered 4 increasing it. Furthermore, scriptural testimony favours agni=pitta identity. Along with bile, fire moves in kuxi = lower abdomen & through all circulation channels’ openings. This is called kAyAgni or kAyoSmA.
