lekshmi_remesh Posted November 15, 2004 Report Share Posted November 15, 2004 I remember hearing this Shloka (written by Poonthaanam Namboothiri - a great Krishnabhakta from kerala) in Sanskrit.It went something like ".... ya tvara gajarakshane mayyaarthe karunasindho ka tvara ko gatha hare.." vedamoorthyks Posted December 21, 2004 Report Share Posted December 21, 2004 Here is the correct version of this sloka. ya tvara draupadithrane ya tvara gajarakshane mayyarthe karunasindho sa tvara kva gatha hare? meaning: Where is that quickness you showed (in protecting Draupadi, the same haste you showed in protecting the elephant) Oh Merciful Lord, when I am in a miserable condition(in protecting me).
