Guest guest
That is the day most people can attend. Lots of epopel work on Fridays and saturdays - but sunday has always traditionally been "the day of rest" that's my guess. By the way - In Brisbane Australia - the main weekly feast at the temple is on Saturday evenings .. tho there's another small program at Govindas restaurant on Sundays also

theist
Is this how the 7th day adventist church got it's start and broke off from the other Christians?
Haribhajan
PAMHO AGTSP!!! In answer to your question its called the Sunday feast and held on a sunday, simply because that is the way that Srila Prabhupada set up Krishna conciousnes in the western world! I think because the west was Christian dominated, and it was normal to worship on a sunday, it was so much more easier for us to adapt to it! Hope this answers your questions! Your servant...
