Guest guest
If Krishna has form, is it different from us? in what way? Is that what swarupa means, a transcendental form? Then do space, time, matter and causation mean nothing to swarupa? If so, why isn't it called formless, because form should be restricted to time and space? I am confused by this. Please tell me clearly whether Krishna has form. Is he a person?
Guest guest
In the bible it states God created man in His own image, meaning the human form, one head, two legs and arms etc, but our material body is made of flesh and blood, while the soul the animating principle that gives these bodies life is seated in the heart and not visible to these material eyes. It is comprised of far subtler substance. Whereas Gods' form is known as sat-chit-ananda vigraha, which is fully transcendental. So Krishna is His body eternally in the Spiritual dimention beyond this gross physical world whereas at present we are in these human forms, which is a perverted reflection of our true siddha swarup (perfected form) that eventually will progress, thru cultivating our consciousness to live with Krsna in our true spiritual home. The material body is temporary or subject to birth, disease, old age, and death, whereas our spiritual form is eternal. If we try to cultivate steady rememberance of that Spiritual dimention, we will gradually feel more at home in our spiritual identity than we do in these material bods and will make an easy transition to that beautiful world with Krsna. Krsna states in the Bhagavad Gita that we never cease to exist but there are many unfortunate impersonalists who believe our form somehow dissolves into a primordial void called brahman, and in so doing we become everything and nothing. This is just a misconception of illusion. In the full fledged conception of Theism it is a madhouse of loving exchange between those uncountable souls that love the Supreme most beautiful person and His entourage. We can have many other forms in the Spiritual world but this one is most akin to Krsnas. The songs from Brahma Samhita best describe the beauty of Govinda.
