Guest guest
I saw this in a book, it was the christian version but also a Hindu. Not being Hindu, I had no way of answer. What is the Hindu thought and/or answer of these questions? 1. What is the true nature of the Ultimate Reality that lies beyond the gods? 2. Is the world of physical matter merely illusion? 3. How can I attain liberation from the rounds of rebirths?
Pankaja_Dasa
1. True or Truth is God as/is a Person. 2a. No it's true, if I punch somebody they will not say that punch was false. We cannot know God also by our own Minds, because our mind is born from His OWN nature, how can You know God, when He won't allow you to? "If Vedas say's Fire is cold, then Vedas is wrong, you can state it is untrue. We need to not follow blindly- Sanskracharya Krishna says That Impersonal Brahmajyoti is but the rays from my own Body. By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them. Bhagavad-gita 9.4- www.vedabase.net <pre><font class="small">code:</font><hr> </pre><hr> Now imagive the Sun, how powerful it is. Imagine what kind of power is coming from Krishna body. You cannot! That is why God IS realized in 3 aspects, Impersonal, Localized, and lastly as Personal Form. This is the process of self-realization. You cannot exactly jump from one-end to another, this leads to speculation. Bhakti is the PATH of Surrender. 3. By serving Vaishnavas. In Bhakti-yoga. There are many type of Liberation also, the best is serving Krishna in His abode.
Guest guest
I see God as a spirit and i didn't think Hindu served God, don't they believe in Braham? "3.In Bhakti-yoga. Pankaja_Dasa
What about Jnana-yoga,karma-yoga, why is Bhakti-yoga better? The Proof of the Pudding is in the eating. Jnana become very dry after a while.. and can you tell me anybody who is actually following this path as it should be? In Kali-yuga everything is so degraded and unfortunate, people don't have any brain power to follow Jnana path, nor have they ANY capacity to understand the Vedas. Previously people lived for many many years, now with short span of life. It's near immossible to follow. This is actually a bonus of Age of Kali, wherein Jnana-yogis are born here, who can advance towards Bhakti. Loving service unto Vasudeva. /images/graemlins/smile.gif And even more fortunate to be born wherein Lord Gaurachandra took His advent 500 years ago. This personality didn't discriminate between anybody and gave love of Godhead on a plate! Take it! What you got to loose? /images/graemlins/smile.gif Do you agree /images/graemlins/ooo.gif! Guest guest
Sounds like you know what are are talking about. I don't know much about Hinduism. I know more about my own religion and sub christians sects. Jehovah witnesses and Mormons mainly. I have been learning about Hinduism. At our church we had short lessions about religions, teaching us about what they believe. Although, they should teach us more about JW and Morons, we have a mess of them here but I know all about them. All the stuff I said about yogs was stuff I found on a site. And even more fortunate to be born wherein Lord Gaurachandra took His advent 500 years ago. This personality didn't discriminate between anybody and gave love of Godhead on a plate! Take it! What you got to loose? Do you agree ! . . .about that I don't know. I do not have enough knowledge of Hinduism.
Pankaja_Dasa
This Page has an exceptional passage about this Personality Lord Gaurachandra [also other names for same person are- Gauranga, Chaitanya, Mahaprabhu, Viswambhara] you will note it is rather long, because even in short His Personality is so blissful- http://srimadbhagavatam.com/introduction/en Start from here: [7th Paragraph]- A short sketch of the life and teachings of Lord Caitanya, The Preacher of Srimad-Bhagavatam. I'd save the HTML Page to read Later if it's too long for you.
