Pankaja_Dasa
By The Publishers Guru (Vyasa) Purnima - the appearance of the anniversary of Srila Vyasadeva- [Extacted from Spainsh, Translated with Bablefish]- In this glorious festividad of Guru Purnima we have a very special opportunity to adore to the Guru and the holy people with great devotion. He is unfortunate that while a great person lives between us, we do not recognize that fact, we do not say good things of that person and we are always criticizing that person. Mr. Jesus Christ came with the potential to teach to thousands and thousands, to million and million people, but people did not allow to teach him for a long time, only could teach to twelve disciples and even of these twelve disciples, there was a person who found a form to make crucificar to Jesus. After its death, we thought about him, we adored to him, we prayed and others to him. Why we do not recognize its greatness when they are alive? Why we do not obtain the benefit to understand to these great saints and mystical wise people while still they live? The answer is that we are immature. There is much criticismo on living saints, but once they die, all people speak very well of them. All this criticismo only lasts until they die. Once they leave the body, all say only good things of them. All say: "Oh, that great santo was" And other things thus. Many people are arranged to render cultured to people only after their death, not while they are alive. Guru Purnima, is the day of Full Moon in which all those that considers students, offer respect to their teachers. The children in scholastic age, the students and the disciples give presents to him to which they are helping them to learn and to develop a good character. All the teachers and facilitadores of Prohibition or knowledge, are seen like a reflection of the original teacher of the Prohibitions, Srila Vyasadeva, the literary incarnation of God and its name is invoked repeatedly during that day.
