Guest guest
I have heard many explanations. What is Prabhupadas view?

JayaPrabhupada
Prabhupada wanted all Deities to center on Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Thus he called his temple Mayapur Candrodaya. Not "temple of Understanding". He was considering building a planetarium too, but not a "star planetarium".
Guest guest
So what is up with Narasimhadeva and the Sakhis. Is it what he wanted?
Guest guest
So what is up with Narasimhadeva and the Sakhis. Is it what he wanted? He never wanted Narasimhadeva and Prahlad. It was Bhavanandas idea.
Guest guest
Srila Prabhupada wrote one letter, I was told, by the head pujari Jananivas, describing the size and forms of the large Radha Krsna Deities for Mayapura Iskcon. During his nara lila only the smaller brass ones were installed. His Divine Grace instructed, according to Jananivas Prabhu, their size and which murti wallah in Jaipura whould carve them. I asked him "what about all the other sakhis, who decided to install them?" His answer was, "everyone else."
