Guest guest
Jai shri Krishna. I'm confused about the number of verses (slokas) in Sri Mukunda mala stotram. Sri Vaishnava websites such as Prapatti.com and srivaishnavam.com, have versions of the Stotra in 42 slokas. However i have seen the Bhaktivedanta Book trust copy Transalated by Srila Prabhupada and his disciples, here we have mukunda mala stotra of 53 slokas. The confusion continues from sloka 7 onwards, where the verses do no correspond with each other. For example verse 7 of the 41 verse version starts... kriShNa tvadIya padapaN^kaja paJNjarAntam.... whereas in the 53 verse version sloka 7 starts cintayami harim eva santatam ..... Can someone please shed some light on this please?????????? And if possible what was the exact version of Mukunda mala stotram which was sung by Sri Kulasekhara Alawar????????
