Guest guest
Could anyone help me - recently i have been going to classes on the geeta (nama hatta) - but i want to know what it is that everyone seems to say when they pay their respects after kirtan - when devotees bow their heads to the floor i hear them say a sort of mantra - is this a mantra given to them or is it a verse that is recited or is it simply paying respects? many thanks Hare Krishna
Guest guest
after the kirtan the devotees say basically a prayer to their spiritual master namah om vishnupadaya, krsna prestaya bhutale, srimate (guru's name) iti namine english is not my language.. so other devotees will give the exacts translation.. the reason is that everything we say and we can do in the practice of krsna consciousness is by teaching and mercy of the spiritual master, so we thank him after having some spiritual benefit and before doing any devotional act this mantra is not secret or exclusive of initiated, you too can learn it and reciting it putting in it the srila prabhupada's name: namah om vishnupadaya, krsna prestaya bhutale, srimate bhaktivedanta swamin iti namine
